On July 10 Amma will be flying from Iowa to D.C.

There cannot be a program on July 10.

 

I googled "July 11" and "Guru Purnima" and "2006"

You can pull up lots of sites that will say that and some that will say the other.  Where you are in the world is how it is properly determined.  But people do as they like anyway.  Never bad to celebrate.

 

The morning of the 10th will be the end of DB in Iowa.  Amma's done it at the end of a DB before.  That is the proper timing.

 

The flight isn't that long.  She could do it more privately in D.C., which would be really sweet for those that could go.

 

The Swamis are sticklers for this sort of exact timing thing.

 

But we will have to see.  I'll be in both places just in case, unless I hear that it will definitely be in D.C.
