Farmers are not allowed to grow anything but rice, because they can't meet the need as is. Not to mention they use high doses of DDT and HC, which is twice as deadly. They overuse pesticides and fertilizers: this is well-known. Between the DDT and HC and radioactivity(equal to 300 chest X-rays per year), you had better not be too attached to your health.
