Guest guest
Hello, I am constructing an expert system for astrological predictions. Although the system is nowhere near complete, but I was able to construct a rule based system to prediction. It also allows the astologer to navigate to different houses in various subdivisions and query the state of the houses and planets. Personally it helps me a lot to understand and analyse patterns and yogas. I intend to increase the knowledge base of the system to incorporate new rules. Can any learned members kindly suggest good sources of information (unambiguous information) or book list that may help me incorporate the knowledge in the system. My present knowledge is very limited and hence is a source of my current frustation. I also want to reply to the posting made previously about why creating such a system is a waste of time by 'modern' Indians. I do not remember the msg number. I strongly oppose this since it presumes that new ideas should not be explored. If 'modern' Indians are those who are willing to explore new and better ways to do things, I certainly would like myself to be called 'modern'. Ofcourse it can happen that I finalize realize that a software system can never replace an astrologer. But what the heck, I want to try this idea even if it means success only after multiple failures. Thanks & Regards, Manu
