Guest guest
Dear Chandra shekhar ji Shiv Chadha ji Partha ji and other respected members I was thinking about the special logic behind Navamsha divisions due to different starting navamshas for different rashis. For eg i was trying to relate why in Capricorn, Capricorn is the first navamsha while in Gemini ,why Libra is the first navamsha. Quite some time was spent but then i could find that the logic was very simple with the help of Dr.Ramans Hindu Predictive Astrology. >From Aries we have to start counting from aries and keep on counting until the count reaches 108.Once you reach 12,(obviously the 3rd navamsha in taurus) start counting from 1 again. Thus for the easiness in computation we say for Aries ,Leo and Sag - navamsha starts from Aries. For Taurus,Virgo and Capricorn -start from capricorn. For gemini, leo and aqua - start from Libra. Now i tried to relate the tattwas of rashis to this. In fiery signs(1,5,9) ,Navamsha starts from fire always. Similarly for earth, air and water signs the navamsha starts from earth, air and water respectively. Thus eventhough the logic was, dividing the full zodiac consecutively into 108 with a cyclical order of aries to pisces, the tattwas were matching amazingly. Thus Shiv Chadha jis clue regarding D-4 was helpful here. Moreover For movable signs -The navamsha counting starts from 1st from itself (in otherwords from itself). For dual signs - The navamsha counting starts from 5th from itself. For fixed signs - The navamsha counting starts from 9th from itself. Thus if we think about this 1,5 ,9 relationship it is like three triangular pies with 120 degrees between them.(Total zodiac being 360) Similarly for Nakshathras. Every tenth Nakshathra( arithmetic progression of 9) is lorded by the same planet. Thus aswhini (1) + 9 = Makha (10) + 9 = Moola (19) lorded by Ketu. As we have only 9 planets and 27 nakshathras this is the only way.Again these nakshathras Ashwini,Makha and Moola are 120 degress apart in the zodiac(1,5,9 triangular pattern). Similar is the case with bharani ,purva phalguni, purva ashada until Aslesha ,Jyeshta,Revati. But only thing which i cannot find using my logic is why Ketu is ruling a particular set and why sun is ruling another set? For this you have to know the philosophy behind. May be here your knowledge of chakras or other Gurujis knowledge might help.I dont have any knowledge about the planets and chakras and hence no clue. But from the above conclusions just see Partha ji how amazingly the gola and tattwas are blended. If we know the philosophy then all the three are blended in a divine fashion. And geometry is very well visible. Thus as per my understanding if we apply aspects in navamsha or divisional charts then we are only shattering this wonderful divine blend. Thus Navamsha or anyother division can be used to see the finer tattwa rasi position of lagna and planets.Parivartana and conjunction can be understood similarly in navamsha. Conjunction will represent real conjunction only if they fall in same nakshathra pada.Else they just represent identical tattwa environments for the conjuncting planets. Thus Mars and Jupiter conjunct in gemini navamsha means both are subject to mercurian influence. But they are not together.Similarly Parivartana represents exchange of identical tattwa rashis. Thus if we want to relate the planets in navamsha ,then one could count the number of navamshas between two planets. This will have a logic.Or counting the number of navamshas elapsed since the first aries navamsha to the planet(s)in consideration. I dont know if any such references are there in the classics related to navamsha.May be Chandrashekhar ji or other learned members could help. I would request the learned members to review this study from me.I know this will be upsetting as aspects are being used in divisional charts. I would express my respect towards Chandrashekhar ji who had confirmed about his views on aspects at the very beginning.Shiv chadha Ji for giving valuable clues and Partha ji for your long mails and explanations. This is just my understanding, this could be wrong! But i am confident. Thanks Pradeep
