Many ayanamsa do exist, and for a beginner, it hard to choose one to work with. Furthermore other criterias have to be taken into account. This is the symbolic length of the year in Vimshottari Dasa: 360 days or 365.2425 days a years. Of course, birth time rectification is another story...
