Guest guest
Dear Mofie, Please allow me attempt to answer your question. One of my maternal grandfather's, who was a good Astrologer told me once, when I was young. The knowledge of Devine Sciences like Vedic Astrology is blessed to some pre-destined people only. Based on their Purva Punya and the current Janma karma, most of them use for helping people, some may misuse it, that is always there in the universe. Also he said, many men/women tries to learn Vedic Astrology but very few only master it because they are destined to do that. The analogy he gave was, many people will be inspired by watching the base-ball / cricket games, many join and try to learn, but and only few succeed in pursuing the mastery of the game and play at a national level. So, I guess, my answer is selection of the studentship was already made by the god. How long and what level one will practice this all depends on the Sraddha and Bhakti to the Guru and Jyotish it self. Request to Guru's to add and comment on my opinion.
