Male phobias toward menses

Namaste Listmembers,

 

To My Dear Dhira,

Yes, you are dear to me, I know you are a good man.

Unfortunately you raised my dander with the rather distasteful term "unclean"

when referring to menses. If you can find a passage in the Puranas where

Vasudeva is as derogatory, please present it.

I would rather not waste my valuable time and energy arguing interpretation

and semantics with men. I usually allow sexist comments to flow on by; I don't

need to 'revolutionize' anything. Many truth-seekers have come before me and

many will follow. Empowering women on their spiritual journey is where my sense

of justice leads.

That "Draupadi followed" (men), and paid the price for her Spiritual lethargy

is clearly elucidated by Vasudeva.

Enough of this Dhira, I am proud you live your religious convictions, but

that need not be at the 'expense' of others.
