Two parts rule and dasha pravesh chart

I thank you for illustrating how to analyse the Dasha Pravesh chart and dashas

using the two parts rule. Your email on how to use different dasha systems in

Tithi pravesh charts was also explained clearly.

 

Taking my own chart as an example, I would like to understand further the

application of the two parts rule as taught by you in the basic interpretation

of the dasha pravesh chart. I would like you and other learned Gurus to correct

me or point out additional interpretations that I have missed. Ar, Ta, Cn, Sg,

Cp and Pi are pristodaya signs (rise with the back) while Ge, Le, Vi, Li, Sc

and Aq are shirshodaya (rise with the head) signs.

 

My birth details: 28/09/1971, 11.00.10 AM at Chennai, India

 

The original birth time (11.01 AM) was macro-rectified based on kunda and

pranapada lagna. No micro-rectification was done. According to this time, with

Lahiri ayanamsa and 360 degree solar years, my Mars dasha started on 28/02/2002

at 07.33.50 AM. Mars is also my atmakaraka and obviously it is an important

dasha for me! Moreover, roughly 2 years of this dasha are over and I can judge

the results fairly well. The chart cast for this beginning date and time at my

birth place is the Mars Dasha Pravesh chart (DPC). This chart is shown below

Lagna is Pi with 1st and 10th lord, Ju placed in 4th house of Ge. 6th lord, Su

is in 12th house of Aq along with 3rd and 8th lord, Ve. Su is in maranasthana

as well as enemy rasi and this could show troubles in service on the

communication front as well as breaks in job. Being in a shirshodaya sign,

these troubles could manifest in the first half of the dasha. I was unemployed

for about 5 months (Vimsottari Ma-Ra at that time, Ra is co-lord of Aq!) and

the immediate future does not look too bright as I am on a contract job.

However, 10th lord, Ju aspects Aq suggesting that I will be working in a

government institution (Su) in the field of education etc. Presently I am

employed as a researcher in a government funded university. Ju is also a

benefic and thus will counteract the troubles shown by Aq. The 2nd

and 9th lord, Ma is well placed in the 2nd house of Ar showing that the bulk of

my earnings shall come from foreign sources. This has been the case so far.

 

As lagna lord in 4th, a prime focus of this dasha might be to make the native

think about family, or house or some such matters. Again, Ge is a shirshodaya

sign but so far this has not manifested in any visible form although the native

has entertained thoughts about settling down in the place where he stays. Ke,

the trigger of religious activity is placed in the 9th house, aspected by Ra

and Sa. This shows interest in established knowledge and occult affairs. Sc is

also the natural 8th house and being a shirshodaya sign, the results shall show

up in the 1st half of the dasha. Indeed, ever since Ma dasha started, I started

learning vedic astrology seriously, bought books on this topic, joined the

vedic astrology forum, had the good fortune to meet and interact with Messrs

Sarajit, Sanjay, Purushottaman etc, was accepted as a shishya by Partha. Since

Ra is

associated with research, I would be interested to do research in Vedic

astrology but since Ta is a pristodaya sign, the results of research shall

manifest in the second half of the dasha. Good thing, too what with all these

tensions nowadays!

 

7th lord Me is placed in the 11th house of Cp suggesting gains due to marriage.

This is further supported by Ju aspecting Vi from Ge. Being a pristodaya sign,

the results shall be given in the 2nd half ie., Sep 2005 to Feb 2009. This is

contrary to birth chart expectations which suggest marriage anytime after Sep

2004 due to transit Ju in 2nd from UL and aspecting 7th house of birthchart. It

is noteworthy that in D-1 of birth chart, the dispositor of 7th lord, Me is

placed in navamsa of Cp suggesting that Sa is the final controller. The 5th

lord is placed in 6th house of Le suggesting that promotion or happiness due to

children will be hard to come by during this dasha.

 

Of course, this depends on the correct birthtime and I still could be wrong.

Nevertheless, if the mistakes and additional insights are pointed out by the

learned members, it would be a great learning experience for me. Partha,
