Also if Ketu is in 10th house in Both Main chart and Navmansh Chart? What are his effects in his dasha and antardasha? In Main chart Ketu is in 10th house in Gemini and is in Nakshtra of Jup while Jup is in 4th own house in sagg. Ascendant is Virgo. Navamansh lagna is Leo and Ketu is in 10th in Tau. Guest guest Posted September 24, 2003 Report Share Posted September 24, 2003 Om Gurave Namah Dear Kpkanitkar, The effects of Ketu in any house need to be determined keeping in mind some other points like aspects,placement of the lord etc.Though generally speaking Ketu in any house will reduce happiness from that house and the matters of that house will be adversly effected. Some information about Ketu: 1.As per the Katha in the puran, when Vishnu was distributing the siddhis a demon disguised and came to take them too and when Lord Vishnu realized this he threw his sudarhsan chakra and cut the demon into half.The two halves are Rahu and Ketu. 2.Astronomically Rahu and Ketu are the Lunar Nodes.The Northern and the Southern shadows or Nodes of the Moon. 3.Ketu in astrology is moksha karak and so is repsonsible for getting the soul out of the cycle of rebirth which is the opposite of Rahu which keeps the soul tied down with desires.So, Ketu makes on free from desires and has no desires and there fore has no grah dristi. 4.Ketu due to the above nature is also responsible for spirituality in a person.Placement of Ketu will indicate this to some extend but Ketu teaches the hard way.Ketu makes one first make mistakes so that one may learn from them and that is why during Ketu periods a person may undergo alot of changes and perhaps commit some mistakes from which they are bound to learn some very hard lessons. 5.The diety of Ketu is Lord Ganesh. I would also like to know if Ketu is also indicator of sickness? Is there a possibility that Ketu antradasha can cause sickness as per mahadasha lord and ketu antardasha withing main dasha?
