Ramadas ji : Why I was not drawn to my Ishta-Devata during AK dasha?

Dear Ramadasji,

Though I like all gods, my mind is set on Sri Vishnu forms already.

But, what I want to tell you about is that this goddess Karumari is

of the form of a 'Black Snake' and was discovered in an ant-hill, and

is one of the 7 form of Goddess Parvati (akin to other forms such as

Goddess Kanyakumari), but all the same said to be an embodiment of

all the 3 forms of Shaktis - Durga, Saraswati and Lakshmi. She also

strongly signifies the nodes and her picture also carries a 5 headed

snake behind her Crown on the head. My grand-mother had been a great

devotee of her and this goddess has directly done a lot of good for

our family, ie my mom is the only daughter (no brothers either) and

my maternal grandpa had died shortly before my mom was born. So my

mom grew up quite completely alone, also without much relatives, so

my grandma used to worship this goddess very vigorously. Shortly

after graduation from College, my mom was spending time without any

direction at home, but this goddess through some spiritual mediums at

her temple told my grandma that she would send one devotee of hers

who would help my mom and that she would place my mom at a high

position of earning 1000 Silver coins (this was close to 40 years

ago). Soon later, another person who lived on the same street (his

name is same as my father, Sadagopan), came to my grandma and gave an

exam paper and told my mom to prepare from it for the Bank exam next

morning. My mom thus prepared, wrote and got selected as Bank

employee where she grew up to be close to that of an Officer in

designation and retired after 32 years of continuous service. Also,

this goddess predicted once that I have 'Nethra dosha', ie to me when

I was 11 and gave some lemons, but I forgot all about it, and only

several years later, when my eye test showed I need glasses, I

remembered all about this, but atleast I wear contact lens as my

glasses are quite heavy :( And so forth, this goddess has really

predicted/done a lot of good. Why I want to say is that, I don't know

the astrological implication of Rahu in 12, going by what I know so

far, Rahu will give heavy expenditure in 12, but when I analyzed my

past events using the Vimsottari of Moon (which may not be right, but

for the sake of discussion here), I found that something good had

always happened to me during Bhukti/Antar of Rahu (like marriage,

especially it being a good one, child birth, clearing away of

sickness, etc), so I wonder if my mother/grandma's worship to Goddess

Karumari who also signifies the nodes makes Rahu periods good for me

inspite of Rahu being in 12? Is there any chances for such things to

happen out of astrology?

Thanks,

Jayashree

worship Karumari Amma also. Now you just decide yourself by

worshipping which God you are getting too much mental happiness. So by

worshipping Lord Venkateshwara if you get more mental happiness, then

you continue with HIS worship. Our mind controls our each and every

actions. So now you decide yourself which GOD is to be worshipped as

Ishta Devatha.
