Guest guest
Dear Dhira Krsna, I have scanned so far Mahabharat, Bhagwat Purana but without success. In Vishnu Purana (ch 15, 4th part), there is mention of Vasudev's wives - Paravi, Rohini, Madira, Bhadra, Devaki and it is mentioned Vasudev had more wives other than these five and also mentioned are names of children from these five wives. But Subhadra is not mentioned. Devaki's 6 children who were killed by Kansa are also listed. (they were later brought to life by Lord Krasna on the request of Devaki). There are are other purana's where mention may be there, just let me scan them. But I very clearly remember that Subhadra was not Krasna and Balram's sahodar i.e. born of same womb but still she was their younger sister in relation. How? Let me find the exact reference. Best Wishes Shiv Chadha - Dhira Krsna BCS vedic astrology Tuesday, October 28, 2003 1:35 AM [vedic astrology] Diwali/Subhadra Dear Shiv Chadha,>No Dhira Krsna! Subhadra is not that one. She was daughter of one of>Krsna's uncle.Do you know the name of this uncle? Where would this be mentioned? Ihaven't seen any reference about this anywhere, can you point me to somequotes?Having worshipped Subhadra for a long time now, I all the time have beenwith this conception that she was Yogamaya taking birth from Yashoda, butI think she wants to show me now who she really is. Of course, I believeshe is indeed Yogamaya, but then took birth again after some time?Yours,Dhira Krsna dasa,Jyotishahttp://www.radhadesh.comArchives: vedic astrologyGroup info: vedic astrology/info.htmlTo UNSUBSCRIBE: Blank mail to vedic astrology-.......
