Guest guest
||Namah Shivaaya|| Dear Imran Ji, Some of my thoughts below, as well as a question I asked of you before. While you have provided a lot of clues, I do not know the basis of all, and the principles of the dictums quoted. If we understand the principles then the value of dictums, which also serve as a memory aid, will flow with us. vedic astrology, Muhammad Imran > Marriage is part of dharma and nature's requirement. It is an institution with multidimensional association. In Jyotish, nearly all the Classics heavily emphasized on it. [Via Nitin] The 11th (gains / "laabha") from the 9th House of Dharma is the 7th House. Hence, it can be inferred that the gains to one's dharma is the institute of marriage. Likewise, the gains to the 7th House is the 11th therefrom, which leads to the 5th House of children. Children are the wealth of parents, as the saying goes... > Ruling Planets > > > > Wife: Venus stands for Kalatra-Karak, i.e. wife, sexual relation with women, sperm and passion. Apart from it, the Moon is the secondary ruling planet for wife in male charts. [Via Nitin] Here is a thought -- semen (Jala Tatwa) helps carry sperm (prithvi tatwa) to the sacred womb. They usually go together, but not many consider the subtleties of this combination. A woman goes from being the fertile Venus to a Mother (Moon), and eventually widowhood (I think Ketu representing this). > Husband: Jupiter rules Husband in female charts. The Sun is also seen as secondary indicator of husband, and his status. [Via Nitin] A Male goes from being Mars the bachelor, to Jupiter the married man, a Father and then a widower (I think Rahu representing this). > Marriage: As a dharma, and social duty the "institution of marriage" and marriage ceremony is indicated by Jupiter. (It is also indicator of childern). [Via Nitin] The natural significators of the 9th House are the Sun and Jupiter. Marriage will be recogniazed either by the Government (Sun) or the Priest (Jupiter) accoringly, or both. Jupiter alone is not an absolute. People have court marriages, and do not go through a priest, or the equivalent in other faiths. > > > > Widowhood: The Saturn and Mars show widowhood, death and separation from spouse. 8th house is primarily rule over it because 8th house is the second from 7th and seventh from 2nd house. [Via Nitin] I am hoping your revealing us how you picked the 9th for the 2nd spouse, the 11th for the 3rd etc, will help clarify what you wrote for this point above. > > > > Miscellaneous Points > > > > Amongst chara karaka scheme, the Dara Karaka (DK) rules partner. Udu Pada (UL) i.e. arudha of 12th house is particularly discussed by Parashar and Jaimini in the context of marriage. The second from UL indicates phalam or fruits of marital happiness, and must be studied in D-1 and D-9. Vivah Saham is another significant cosmic point in chart that stands for marriage but at subsidiary level. [Via Nitin] The 2nd from a house is that of sustenance, as you stated before. Blessings or protection are the 9th from a House. Trines indicate direction to a house, and 11th is "laabha sthaan" roughly translated as gains in the modern day. The 4th from a house in question will reflect happiness. Generally for a native, 4th from the Moon is also examined. 4th from A4 is also examined in the Rashi for the native. Likewise, 4th frmo a reference point can be examined. I hope this helps. Thank you for sharing, reading and answering some of my questions. ||Namah Shivaaya||
