Guest guest
Dear Ramadas Raoji, Could you elaborate a bit for the benefit of the whole group as to what the Sun & Ketu combination means if it is in other rasis e.g. Thula (Libra) as it is these days? Also, what if it also is in Shiva Yoga i.e. either Sun is AK or the Sun-Ketu combination is in trines to AK. How would your readings be modified or extended? Also, if it isnt too much trouble, could you even go further and also explain the general meaning of eclipses in vedic astrology. Full moon eclipses in my understanding are Sun-Ketu opposed Moon-Rahu, or Moon-Ketu opposed Sun-Rahu occurrences in a chart. Sun eclipses are probably Sun-Moon- Ketu or Sun-Moon-Rahu conjunctions. What I mean is - does the eclipse combination have DEEPER significance than simply the SUM of the two independent occurrences? In western astrology, it seems to have exactly that. Guest guest
Hi Sundeep, I want to add a minor point before the learned clarify things: Moon-Kety opp Sun Rahu does not necessarily mean an eclipse. I have this combination in my chart, and when I was born, there wasnt an eclipse. I think the degree of Ketu/Rahu and their closeness to Sun/Moon should also= be taken into account. Theoretically, eclipse can occur while Moon/Ketu are not in the same sign. = (Say Ketu in 29 deg 30 minutes in Aries and moon in 1 deg 10 minutes in taurus). Such a person will not have moon-ketu combination but there could = have been an eclipse at the time she/he was born. In other words, the closeness of Sun/Moon with the nodes is what that should matter and not if they are in the same rasi. I might be wrong here... just thinking aloud. -Siva. vedic astrology, "vedicastrostudent" <vedicastrostudent> wrote: > Dear Ramadas Raoji, > Could you elaborate a bit for the benefit of the whole group as to > what the Sun & Ketu combination means if it is in other rasis e.g. > Thula (Libra) as it is these days?
