Sanjay in "Narayana Dasa" (p.75-76) suggests taking the cusp of the

house (he says this is normally taken as the longitude of lagna under

the equal house system) and finding its position in various amsas.

It works to an extent, but transposing the whole sign works better.

------------------------

I request you to kindly explain cusp-based-Narayan dasha. I can't

figure

out how to apply it to vargas, since based on cusp, vargas will have

different signs.Do you mean that all those signs (obtained from

vargas of

the cusp)will be simulteneously activated during rashi-dasha of D1

chart?

For example, Aq 21 in D1 will fall in Ar in D9,in Vi in D10 etc.

So Dasha of Aq in D1 will activate Ar in D9 and Vi in D10 etc. Can we

then

assume Ar in D9 as Dasha sign and Vi in D10 as Dasha lagn for

prediction?

Also can you exlain the role of "transposing" as compared to Varg

Narayan

dashas? Can it be extended to other Udu/Rashi Dashas?

Another thing I wanted to ask you: Can Grah-arudha be used as Karak-

arudha

and Bhavesh-arudha? If that is true,I think, both houses(signs) can be

used

to find grah-arudha and used accordingly. Please give some example of

timing

events using grah-arudha.

THANKS
