Guest guest
Namaste Guru's and Learned Members, I have read all the discussion messages on this topic and thought, may be I should put across my few beginner's thought here along with my elementary knowledge in Sanskrit too. Gandha + Antha = Gandhantha. Let us see the meaning of the individual words in sanskrit and theirmeaning and associated characteristics. Gandha has got a Very Good Smell as an attribute and if applied to a body, it cools that area of the body. Which means, it has a capability of taking the heat off from that part. So Can I call this as "Ushna Hari" or "Usta Hari". Also the smell is considered to be one of our Pancha Indriyas, isn't it. Antha meaning which terminates and ends the process. So this has got a Sthira Characteristic, which makes the body to not to move. So when we apply all the above together, we can say the Gandhantha has a capability to take the life force from a body and puts the body into a stationary state from a moving state, which means a death or a deathlike experience to the concerned Rasi's and Nakshatra's when Gandhantha is applicable. May I request Guru's and Learned Mebers to correct me if I am Wrong in my thinking.
