(Chara vs Sthira vs Naisargika )Karaka Bhava Naasa Question

Sorry I'm a bit unclear on this. BVRaman seems to pretty clear than

Sun in 9th is a case of Karaka Bhava Naasa. He seems to be using the

fixed Karakas. Sanjay Rath in COVA says that Karaka Bhava Naasa is

specifically NOT applicable to fixed Karakas e.g. Sun in 9th, Jupiter

in 9th, even Venus in 7th. He does say however that it IS applicable

to Chara Karakas in the following 2 ways:

1) Chara Karaka as ruler of Karaka Bhava e.g. Cancer 9th house with

Moon as Chara PiK.

2) Chara Karaka is the same as fixed Karaka e.g. Sun being AK (both

temporary and fixed).

Is my understanding correct? And then, is BVRaman wrong? Also, how

does this apply to:

3) Chara Karaka being IN the Karaka Bhava e.g. Gemini 9th house with

Moon as PiK being in the 9th house. Is KBN applicable?
