Guest guest
om namo näräyaëäya|Dear Narasimha Ji, You are most welcome. All the credits of my successful prediction goes to my Guru Sri Ragahavendra Swamiji,Lord Krishna and Mother Bhuvaneshwari. In future, for birthday wishings I will try to use personal mails. With Sri Hari Vaayu Naama Smarana, Ramadas Rao."Narasimha P.V.R. Please use discretion and think before you send any mail: "Can I send it to one person privately or should I send it to all the 1,650 people?" Every member's birthday is special and it is natural for people to want to wish other members when their birthday comes. Perhaps more so when the birthday of an active contributor comes. Nevertheless, it is more appropriate to use private mail. Had this list been small, I would've ignored. But, we have 1.650 people and there is a birthday every now and then. Some 10-20 people send "happy birthday" mails whenever a birthday comes. Please use private mail for such things in future. You don't have to wish in front of all the 1,650 people. Having said that, happy birthday Partha! :-) BTW, I am not late. The actual birthday is not on 15th Dec, but on 16th morning as per the solar calendar (and long back as per the lunar calendar). The actual western date (15th) has no meaning astrologically. When a gentleman enquired about the religious conventions regarding ladies not being allowed in temple during certain days, he wondered if there was any astrological significance. So many people replied quite passionately, but nobody contributed any astrological insights. Please, this is a list for DISCUSSIONS ON VEDIC ASTROLOGY, in case somebody forgot!! While matters related to religion and beliefs are welcome, we should not get bogged down with them. The discussion on whether women can worship on certain days or not has dragged on for too long, without contributing anything to our collective understanding of "Vedic Astrology". STOP THIS THREAD. I respect the beliefs of everybody who eloquently stated her/his views on this matter, BUT THIS THREAD HAS GOT TO END. Congratulations to Jay Weiss and Sri Ramadas Rao for successful predictions on Saddam Hussein! Based on sanity check using various principles, I have my own doubts about Gemini lagna used by these two gentlemen and reserve my judgment. But, congratulations are in order for the two of them. Guest guest
Dear Narasimha ji I was thinking once in a year greetings for the Jyotisha Gurus (because DOB is available only for the gurus in file section) who are contributing so much towards the learning, was ok.It was the only common gesture one could show as the Gurujis are providing knowledge for free! Also just a reminder if others are busy and have missed the dates. But i understand your concern and will try to avoid wishing Gurujis publically. Please forgive if by mistake i send again - due to absent mindedness! Thanks Pradeep vedic astrology, "Narasimha P.V.R. Guest guest
Hare Rama Krsna! Hi Jyotishi, Since this is a posting of astrological nature, I hope Narasimha won't mind my replying further on the menses. Since female organs are lorded by the Moon, it is the Moon mainly who is responsible for the menses to occur. How exactly is still unclear to me, but I have noticed, following my wife astrologically, that she starts having menses when 2 or more malefics aspect on the Moon during transit. It must have some connection also with the natal chart, since I have noticed over the couple of years that my wife never started having her menses when Moon was in the signs of Saturn, being her 5th and 6th houses from natal lagna. It is also stated that pregnancy is only possible when Mars aspects on the Moon (not sure if it's natal Mars or transiting Mars) when menses start, and natal Jupiter should aspect on Moon or conjunct at the time of conception, in Rasi or Navamsa. Well, I have only two examples before me of accurate dates recorded of conception and this rule works in both cases. To Ann: the quote from Srimad-Bhagavatam is 6th Skanda, 9th Chapter, texts 6-10 (particularly 9th verse). Because of Indra's sin of killing the brahmana priest Visvarupa, he suffered one year, and then because the land, trees, women and water were merciful to him, they accepted one fourth of the reactions, which resulted in the women having menses. See, now last night I noticed Mercury started going retrograde, thus I see why my words had been taken to have an intention which was not at all meant to be. I also hug my wife when she's in pain having her menses. I never intended to disrespect women, and never spoke anything like that, so the Mercury becoming stationary must have been the cause of that. Now please don't reply on this on the list, since we do not want Narasimha Prabhu to become angry. Yours, Dhira Krsna dasa, Jyotishi http://www.radhadesh.com
