RMK: I really did not mean that gems and Mantras will not help in

real sense. That is your interpretation. What I really meant was that

Divine Providence is very strong and controls our financial and

mental developments all the time. "Cannot be altered" means that one

can only delay the effects of afflicted and malefic planets, by

chanting thousands(or prehaps millions of mantaras)of mantaras, but

ultimately when the effects of the mantaras and gems are gone, then

one must face the original designated effects later on, in the antar-

dasa/pratyantar-dasa of the concerned planet. So if one was able to

control lot of malefic effects(of 6th/8th/12th lord or afflicted

planets) by hardwork and mantaras + gems in present time, then in the

future time of the same planet, similar efffects will come back

(assuming the native will not be ready woth mantaras or gems second

time around. its human nature to consider that everything has been

controlled perfectly when one achieves small victories in present

time)...so the second time around the concerned planet will not only

cause its normal malefic effects but also cause some additional

malefic effects(which were prevented the first time by the native

somehow)..i have seen this happening in my life and others close to

me...the malefic planet equalizes or rather gets its share of the

effects back(unless one continues on the mantara path for 10/20/30

years to control such devstating effects)...So my view point is that

even chanting hundreds of thousands of mantras and/or wearing gems

are temporary effective soultions only and divine providence can be

delayed to some extent but it cannot be altered forever...afterall

this is MRITYULOKA and we cannot control these planetary effects

forever...Please note that I am not against gems or mantaras. Rather

I support them since these are the only means available to normal

human beings to control malefic effects.

So even the doctors can control serious diseases to some/large extent

using medcines and then one has to keep talking thos medicines for

really long periods of time to keep the disease under control. But we

know that all medcines are strong chemicals which do have side

effects which develop into other minor/major problems gradually as

time proceeds and harm our bodies in the long run. In the end our

internal organs keep getting weaker and weaker by such medications

which control cancer, heart disease, kidney problems etc., due to all

this reliance on medicines. Yet medicnes are very necessary since

they are the only means available to control the diseases.

 

By similar analogy, Gems and mantaras are also necessary. while

mantaras focus on the concerned planet and pleasing its controlling

lord directly, gems merely magnify all types of effects of the

concerned planet. So if a planet owns a kendra and a dusthsthana

(6th/8th/12th) and is also afflicted, then all types of effects will

happen(gems are just trying to fast forward the original effects). So

mor harm can be done to the native in such a case then expected

benefits since malefic effects will also increase. So in case of

afflicted planets mantaras are the safest remedy. Basically you are

telling/requesting the Planetary Lord to control bad effects and give

more good effects, rather than taking a strong medication(gems) which

affects all dimensions(internal and external organs) of the planet.

Hope I am clear this time. Yes there are frustrations since people

want gems and mantaras to work immediately all the time...but they do

not understand what they are asking for? Their desire is to not only

control the present bad effects but also to control the entire

planetary system in their favour by hcnating just few mantaras and

some gems...Its like rising to great dimensions and controlling the

planets! can we do so? can we control the devine providence or alter

destiny forever immediately! i do not think so..it will lot of time+

lot of hardwork+mantaras+gems to do such a thing...but its human

nature to demand and expect immediate results, so we do not want to

hear all such lectures and want the results NOW, just like a quick

medicine.
