Guest guest
Dear Zoran Sir, Many thanks for valuable input. I applied double negative rule to few charts and it works well. But I have few doubts to be cleared and your help will be appreciated. What will happen if -- 1. For kanya lagna, mars as 3 and 8 lord placed in 10 house. It will be 8th from 3rd house and 3rd from 8th (double negative). What kind of results will it give in its dasa/antra considering the fact that he is dire malefic ? 2. For kumbha lagna, mercury as 5/8 lord is exalted in 8th house. What results can be expected ? Will it manifest more the effects of better house (5th) ? Best Regards, Luca - Zoran Radosavljevic vedic astrology Friday, October 17, 2003 7:06 AM Re: [vedic astrology] Re: Natural & Functional Om Namo Narayanaya,Dear Luca, 3. answer to your earlier question which Mr. Raghunadha Rao asked me toanswer -- if planet is 6/9 lord .....or lets say 5/6 lord ......it will giveeffects of both houses. See transit of concerned planet to see augmentationof effects of a particular house. Also check position of planet fromconcerned house. There are many ways to differentiate. If graha is strong and well placed it would manifest more the effects of a "better house", if weak it will be the opposite. Further, in dasha periods, graha will firstly give the effect of house closer to lagna, or if retrogarde, the opposite. Also, manifstation may take according to drekkana placement etc..Bhavarth Ratnakar gives interesting counting from multrikon of a bhava. Suppose, guru is in kumbha in 2nd house. It will be placed in 12th house from 3rd house (double negative) and 3rd house from 12th house where multrikon is placed (double negative). Thus it would consider Guru in 2nd for kumbha excellent. For that reason, it is stated that Shani in 5th house (neecha) for Dhanu lagna will give excellent results in dasha (3rd from multrikona house which falls in 3rd-double negative) One more thing -- natural malefics will remain malefics (or rather softmalefics) even if they become functional benefics. See Shri Rama's chart, yogakaraka Mars exalted in 7th house of marriage. Remember Sri Rama'smarried life. These things are different. Mars will remain old mars who will burn away with his agni tatwa, yet he may have a highly positive role (function) in the chart (rulership of good houses). Most commonly, malefics even in exaltation will damage the living things of a bhava(in Rama's case a spouse)Best wishesZoran --Luca-"Rajesh Mohan Kumaria" <rajeshkumaria2000 ><vedic astrology>Friday, October 17, 2003 12:31 AM[vedic astrology] Re: Natural & Functional Dear Kaimal,Well I am not exactly sure but I think that Rashi Sandhi definitionmeans that the concerned planet should be within 2 degrees of eitherboundary of the Rashi signs i.e., less than 2 degrees when rashistarts or more than 28 degrees when rashi ends. Also if the rashidispositor or nakshatara dispositors of such a planet(which is closeto Rashi sandhi) are , benefic, strong and well placed, then may bethe negative painful effects of Rashi sandhi planet can be reduced tosome/large extent. Also combustion and affliction by malefics canmake such effects even more painful.ALso Vargottama condition is not directly related to NeechBhanga orare you trying to imply that if a planet is in Neecha/Debilitatedcondition in both Rashi and Navamsa, then does it mean automaticcancellation of debilitation? Well the answer is NO. In that case itsdouble debilitation(assuming other factors for cancellation o fdebilitation are not present)...it almost means more harshmaterialistic effects. Then you have to go into mantras detail forcontrolling such debilitation by prayers etc.,Regards.
