Retrograde Planets

I do not know about a separate book on retrograde planets on by vedic

astrologers, if anyone know please let me know I am also very much interested

in it. Of course, there are western astrologers wrote books separately on

retrograde planets.

1. Retrograde planets, traversing the inner landscape, is the tittle of the book

written by Erin Sullivan. It is published by Samuel Weiser Inc. Also you can see

the web site www.weiserbooks.com

2. There is another book written by Martin Schulman under the series called

Karmic astrology, retrograde and reincarnation again this is also by Sameul

Weiser Inc.

Like you me too was curious about the retrograde planets and I bought these

books and seems to be fine.

I have some texts on these retrograde planets if you wish I can send to you for

your reading those are based on western perspecive. But in astrology there is

no western and eastern I personally feel so, because net result of astrology is

the same after analysis.

I know a book written in hindi by Bhoj raj dwivedi by the name "

Vakri Grah".This is the collection of views of ancient indian work

and western astrologers about retrograde planets.

You have explained behavior of retro planets very nicely in past

mails.

I have some doubts about retrograde planets.Please give your thoughts

in relation to following points.

 

(1)In my chart Guru is vakri and after 85 days it will become direct.

So I will not get results of houses owned by Guru untill 85 years.

Now,if this is true,I think it may be a blessing if Guru owns malefic

houses like 6/8/12 th. What is your view?In my case he owns 8th and

11th.

So according to Maharshi Parashar,its dasha will be bad.

will it be good for me as it will occure between 41-57 years?

I had very good results in Guru bhukties in Mangal and Rahu dashas.

 

(2)If malefics are placed in the sign of Guru,they will remain

ineffective

untill 85 years and their dashas will not be bad.Similarly for good

grahas.

Do you agree?

 

(3)Being retro at birth means it has started retro motion some days

back.

In my case, it started 36 days back.So will it give some change after

36

years?

 

(4)If a planet becomes retro after say 10 days of birth.Will it

behave like

retrogate after 10 years of age untill it again becomes direct?

 

(5)Will retro planet aspect from previous sign also?For example my

Guru is

in 4th house.From 4th it aspects 8,10,12th. Will it also aspect

7,9,11th(from 3rd)? or it will just give results of 3rd?

 

(6)Can I consider it giving results of its placement in 3rd till 85

years and after that in 4th only.Or it will give results of 3rd and

4th

both till 85 and then only 4th house?

 

(7)will it also participate in yuti,rajyogas etc as if it was

physically

present in 3rd house?

 

(8)Exalted and debilited planets behave in reverse manner if retro.

What will be their effect if they are in own/friendly sign etc?

 

(9)The above principle puts planets in 7th sign instead of 12th.

So can we expect rashi-phal from 7th rashi from planet

and bhav-phal from 12th bhav from planet?

 

(10)What will happen to Karkatwa of Guru?Will it remain unaffected

or will materialise after 85 years like bhavesh results?Will things

indicated by Guru's naisargic and char karkatwa suffer?

 

(11)will all these rules apply to vargas also?Is there any difference

in

treatment of retro grahas in vargas?

 

(12)Will it have any impact on transits? For example in 3rd house

will it get activated by transiting planets or not?
