The subsequent coitus's are called Adhana.Best wishesVisti---Sri Jagannath Center: http://.orgBhagavad Purana: http://www.srimadbhagavatam.orgiTRANS 99 Font: http://www.omkarananda-ashram.org - Dhira Krsna BCS vedic astrology Wednesday, July 23, 2003 9:23 PM [vedic astrology] Conjoined twins Dear Hari,Hare Rama Krsna!Jaya Jagannath! If they will be thinking, feeling and willing differently, then of coursethey are two different souls, sharing parts of the same body. Unlike LordBrahma, our Creator, who has one body with 4 heads, yet He is thinking, feeling and willing like ONE person. So this is the basic difference.>I wonder if the Gurus and learned Jyotishas could give their opinion>on how to interpret the jatakam for these cases. My feeble mind>tells me that they MUST have TWO INDEPENDENT SOULS but apparently,>they have the SAME KARMA inspite of being distinct. I get lost when>thinking about these cases and wonder how Narayana takes care of>these souls. Why two independant souls cannot have the same karma? Take the example ofthe doctors who are working together in each and every aspect of theirjob, and they both commit the same mistake and become guilty of a failedoperation or treatment. Then they will both undergo the same karma, isn'tit? The fact that they are attached to each other bodily doesn't changethat fact, and it will be so because of a common sin.The point which we have to find out is, that how it happens due to thechoice of nisheka lagna which gives us such a birth. Definitely nishekalagna must indicate the birth of twins, and then there should be a doshain that chart which makes them connected to each other. Anyone has thebirthdata of some of these twins? I'd like to have a look at the causesfor such births.Yours,Dhira Krsna dasa,Jyotishahttp://www.radhadesh.comArchives: vedic astrologyGroup info: vedic astrology/info.htmlTo UNSUBSCRIBE: Blank mail to vedic astrology-....... Guest guest
||Om Brihaspataye Namah|| Namaste Dhira Krsna, Thank you for noticing this lone post lost in the flurry of emails on the vedic astrology forum! Yes, I agree with you that two independent souls can have the same karma. I cite the hypothetical example of two babies born at the same time in the same hospital to different families. At the moment of birth, the karma is the same but manifests differently due to the difference in environment (family). But for the case of the conjoined twins, the karma is the same AND the environment is also the same! It is thus vitally important to understand the effect of environment on the karma and vedic astrology has given umpteen examples of this (planet in a friendly, neutral or enemy rashi; friendly or fighting etc) BUT what is the parameter that decodes this effect? The jatakam will indicate the initial karma but how does it manifest? Yes, for one soul, we can find out the answer (by correlating to the transits) but for two conjoined souls? Secondly, you mentioned about Brahma and 4 heads; even Ravana had 10 heads etc. I wont go into asking the obvious but I would like to ask whether it is a sin to be born as a conjoined twin? I have this feeling that ancients would have pondered on these types of cases and given suggestions. Could you share your thinking about nisheka lagna and how can it be interpreted? Yes, some charts are needed to better probe this phenomenon further. If I come across reliable birth data for cases like this, I will share with you. regards Hari vedic astrology, "Dhira Krsna BCS" <Dhira.Krsna.BCS@p...> wrote: > Dear Hari, > > Hare Rama Krsna! > Jaya Jagannath! > > If they will be thinking, feeling and willing differently, then of course > they are two different souls, sharing parts of the same body.
