Rashi

Introduction

Rashi is the most basic chart in Jyotish. Analysis of Rashi chart

sets the foundation for the entire Jyotish. The circular zodiac is

divided into houses and their division. The Basic quantum of division

of zodiac is 1/12th part. Sun (Paramatma-Universal soul) and moon

(prakruti-mother) undergo 12 cycles in year. This causes the creation

of entire zodiac, hence 1/12th forms a kshetra or sign that in turn

when referred from lagna is called a house or Bhava.

This workshop will be to learn this fundamental division of zodiac.

Principles of Analysis

Kalpadruma Yoga

· Definition of Kalpadruma Yoga. Explanation of Kalpadruma Yoga.

Dhi-Moon-Sun-Bhagya(Fortune) principle from Kalpadruma Yoga.

· Application to Lagna.

· Examples using Kalpadruma for lagna.

Examination of making Wealth using Kalpadruma yoga and ages of

planets.

Examination of opening of bhagya using Kalpadruma.

· Examples of Kalpadruma principle to other houses.

· Example taking 2nd house, 5th house, 9th house, 6th house.

How does the house gains strength? What is the meaning of each

dispositor's strength?.

 

Inner and Outer signification of each house.

When does inner signification increase and when the other

signification increases?.

When the houses are destroyed and when do they prosper?.

As in Brihat parashara hora shastra and as in Jaimini Sutra.

· Benefic and malefics owned house effects

· Benefic and malefics aspects and posited house effects.
