Ramadas ji : Why I was not drawn to my Ishta-Devata during AK dasha?

Dear Ramadas ji,

 

Nice talking to you, I have read many of your posts with awe since

you are able to identify nature of past sins and curses.

 

So far I have been to Tirupathy only thrice, the last time I went was

before 7 years, at a time I was not well, and I don't remember much

of it. The first time I went there, I was 7 and I don't remember that

either. The only trip I remember was when I was 22, and at that time,

me and my family had 'Ekantha Seva' at midnight, then I woke up at

early morning 5:00 AM, bathed at Swami Pushkarini and first

worshipped Sri Varaha Murthy. Lord Venkateswara is our family Kula-

devata. However, my mother/grand-mother were very attached to

Goddess "Karumari" (in Tamilnadu - she's a form of Durga), and

worshipped only her, daily with a naivedyam. As my mother was

working, my (maternal) grandma used to do the prayers, but she fell

sick at one point. I was around 20 that time, and was interested in

doing puja, so I took over, but started doing Puja to Lord

Venkateswara instead (I also like Goddess Karumari) and continued

until I was 22, but wanting to be more spiritual again.
