Guest guest Posted December 11, 2003 Report Share Posted December 11, 2003 Dear Pradeep, To the best of my thinking AL is how people perceive you in this world as it is arudha for Lagna while UL is Arudha for 12th house which shows "loss", so arudha of this house will show how people will judge your "loss".So when both are together it will be perceived by the outside world as the native is "giver" as what you give is what you loosed. And thats why UL is taken as focal point for marraige analysis as marraige is more of "giving" (giving of "Tan","Mana" and "Dhana"). Gurus can please correct me. I have learned a new lesson ,why upapada is considered for marriage,thanks.Also made me remember again that marriage is more of giving than taking.Thus if both the parties involved understands this all marriages in this world becomes a succesful and harmonious institution:-).(Tan bhi sundar ...
