You know me.I too have this Moon and Ketu in Vrishabha Rashi along with Venus.Moon dasa was there when I was born,that to for approximately 6 years and 11 months.I never had any mental unequilibrium.Yes I do have Occult experience and a reasonably okay intuition power for calamities.Mother Durga is my palana devi and I do worship her as my universal mother..Mother related aspect does not exist and may not exist at all. Yes I do day dream and sometimes get lost in thoughts. I have a will to control this.Internally I talk to myself and while I write this, I am pronouncing each word and sentence in my heart.Is this construed as a sign of mental disability.In psychology ,this day dreaming is called as Dyslexia (one of the definitions).But in this world ,each one is Dyslexic in his own way.All moon and Ketu antras were okay. What I mean to say is that certain things do not hold good for me for this Moon-Ketu yuti.Is there other considerations to obviate the effects of moon-Ketu Yuti. Pray make me aware. Yes ketu with moon at a physical level does cause problems, as moon is the karaka for human birth. The difference between the gross level of existence that is animals, and the human is the ability of the human beings to think and percieve. Animals have comparatively lesser problems as they do not percieve and think as we do. Moon is a blessing as well as a curse. Rahu and Ketu are the nodes of the moon. Moon is the perception that gets aberration due to ketu and rahu. The gross events and the subtle events of life are superimposed on the mind and we take them for real. Let me give an example. A person might dislike a motorcycle as he might have had accident earlier with the scooter. Thus moon which is a reflector of the light of the Divine soul just imitates and tries to understand the meaning in its own way. Arudha lagna is the seat of perception. We think ARudhas are false. But the "Truths" of this earthly abode are the arudhas. That is the reason for Moon being the Karaka for Arudha lagnam. Mind can only repeat things, get pleasure or pain and percieve. But it can never understand. The understanding comes at the Soul level. The soul is the silent observer that understands. It does not have any emotions. It doesnot involve and participate in the wordly things. It is the silent observer and experiencer. Moon with ketu means sudden losses to the native. But this part has to do with other factoirs also.While moon controls the mind , Ketu controls our philosophical traits ( I mean Vairagya also). I am trying to understand myself wrt Moon and Ketu. I worship Lord ganesh regularly. I have read somewhere that Ketu is Exhalted in Saggitarius? Will that reduce some of the evil effects of this combination?
