Guest guest
Hi "Kwool_Rat", I'm glad you like my book. I used the same example at Achyuta Jyotish Workshop (Jan 25-26, 2003 at New Brunswick, NJ, USA) in my class on conditional nakshatra dasas. Interestingly, the dasa was Moon's there also! You can buy the mp3 CD of the entire workshop (2 full days) on my website for $20 (in USA and $23 elsewhere). We discussed this example in detail there. I'll give a gist here. Yes, Moon in the 12th house (loss) in D-10 (career) shows losing something or letting something go. However, Moon is the 5th lord for Pisces lagna and a functional benefic. So he does not show a loss. Instead, he shows letting something go. Being a natural benefic (Moon is a natural benefic on Sukla Trayodasi, the birth tithi of the native), he is auspicious in the 8th from AL. In the 8th from AL, he shows benefitting from somebody else's resources (8th is the 2nd - resources - from 7th - other images). Being the 5th lord in 8th from 5th, he shows losing some sub-ordinates or losing some power. Nevertheless, being the lord of AL and A9, Moon shows good status and image of good fortune. If you piece all the information together, it is not difficult to conclude that the native sold his company in that period. As mentioned in my book, it was predicted to his father by me in mid-1996 that the middle of Feb 1997 would bring a very important event in his career and finances. The native sold his company for a good price. It is interesting to notice that Cancer dasa was running then as per dasamsa Narayana dasa and also the one-year Moon dasa was running as per Shattrimsa sama dasa. Becuase shat-trimsa sama dasa is applicable, it shows events related to livelihood, wealth and business better than Vimsottari dasa. For more, one can purchase the CD of Achyuta Jyotish workshop at the address given below. The CD will soon be retired. If you want it, buy in the next week or so. BTW, you have a nice name.
