Rahu in 7th-also not good.Jupiter aspects both saturn and Rahu and that is good. sage Parasara says that lord in the 5th also may cause marriage?.But there is no planet in five. The 7th lord from Moon sign viz Mars is in the fourth with Sun. It is asid that if marriage is delayed inordinately then the marriage will take place during seven-and-half year Shanis period. Presently Jupiter is stationed in Simham.The dasa bhukthis are ,Rahu-Moon and-Jupiter from 20-12-2003 to 3-3-2004.This may be congenial for betrothal.Let us see what God has in store.Your comments please. Marriage is judged by following factors. 1) 7th House - Placement of Rahu there, not good. 2) 7th Lord - i.e. Saturn which is debiliated in 9th House (House of Dharma, and marriage is an act of Dharma) 3) Navamasa Lord - Venus is debililated in Rashi Chart 4) Venus - Natural Significator of Marriage - Debiliated. 5) Jupiter - Signifying Husband is place in inimical house (in house of Venus) Also as per Astakavarga, you have only 19 points in 9th house (Dharma). It's good to know that you are fasting on Thursdays (UL Lord). Offer Sincere prayers to Lord Narayana to fullfill your wish. I don't think you can put it that bluntly "Rahu in 7th house is not good". Just couple weeks back I raised this issue in respones to John's claim. Or you might be correct, I might be waiting for a disaster to happen after 14 years of marriage. There are some standard results, which cannot be applied directly. We have to look at all factors. Say Rahu in own house or 7th house receiving some benefic aspects, degrees/strengths of planets in 7th house, Argalas, Virodhargalas, Ashatakvarga points, placement in friendly / inmical sign. I just gave a very basic analysis wiht my little knowledge. I also cannot derive the exact result caused by so many situations. so, I just offered my basic points, so this analysis may be useful to senior members/gurus. In your case, the horoscopes may be matched fine or perfectly. Wish your marital life continue to go smooth and happy forever.
