Thanks for replying back. What is the meaning of Uparatna, the post mentioned

that Topaz is Uparatna, is it more powerful than Yellow Saphire.

Thanks in advance

Dear Sunil,

If I may answer on behalf of ramdasji, English name for Pushyaraga is Yellow

Saffire. Topaz is what is known as uparatna. Pushya raga is also called Pukhraj

or Pushparaga colloquially.

Dear Sunil,

Uparatna means it has some qualities of Nava Ratnas.Nava atnas are the original

gem stones and they bestow ver poitive results when worn with great care and

after Pooja etc. Also they are very expensive. But Uparatnas are not that mush

expnsive and they give results in a slow manner than the original gem

stones.They are cheapt to buy.

Now Topaz is a Uparatna for Guru.If a person can not afford to buy Pushya Raga

stone, then he can buy this stone and use for the same purpose. But some

qualities of original stone may not be there with this.

I hope this helps you.
