Guest guest
om namo näräyaëäya|Dear Narasimha Ji, Thanks for the superb explanation on using TP charts. With Sri Hari Vaayu Naama Smarana, Ramadas Rao."Narasimha P.V.R. Rao" <pvr (AT) charter (DOT) net> wrote: Dear Raghunadh, You can use all dasas - Narayana dasa, Vimsottari dasa etc. In fact, as you go down from the annual chart to the monthly and daily charts, Tithi Ashtottari dasa doesn't work at all. It breaks down. Vimsottari dasa works like a charm in monthly and daily charts. Narayana dasa and its variations work well at all levels. I'll give some examples. Take my chart. Birthdata: 4th April 1970, 5:47:13 pm (IST), Machilipatnam, India (81e08, 16n10). Take the annual TP chart of 2002-03. The data is: 10th April 2002, 11:54:50 pm (IST). Cast a chart at this time (and at birthplace co-ordinates). Take the compressed annual Narayana dasa. Narayana Dasa of D-1 chart (a versatile phalita rasi dasa): Maha Dasas: Ge: 2002-04-10 (23:54:50) - 2002-05-10 (16:41:17) Aq: 2002-05-10 (16:41:17) - 2002-06-06 (3:04:45) Li: 2002-06-06 (3:04:45) - 2002-06-23 (9:03:52) Vi: 2002-06-23 (9:03:52) - 2002-07-08 (21:14:20) Ta: 2002-07-08 (21:14:20) - 2002-08-10 (0:41:55) Cp: 2002-08-10 (0:41:55) - 2002-09-03 (0:14:57) Sg: 2002-09-03 (0:14:57) - 2002-09-19 (18:57:35) Le: 2002-09-19 (18:57:35) - 2002-10-05 (3:15:40) Ar: 2002-10-05 (3:15:40) - 2002-10-07 (15:46:03) Pi: 2002-10-07 (15:46:03) - 2002-11-03 (12:15:03) Sc: 2002-11-03 (12:15:03) - 2002-11-21 (12:24:45) Cn: 2002-11-21 (12:24:45) - 2002-12-02 (21:57:42) Ge: 2002-12-02 (21:57:42) - 2002-12-08 (9:28:31) Aq: 2002-12-08 (9:28:31) - 2002-12-18 (1:54:45) Li: 2002-12-18 (1:54:45) - 2003-01-04 (3:46:22) Vi: 2003-01-04 (3:46:22) - 2003-01-25 (6:08:53) Ta: 2003-01-25 (6:08:53) - 2003-01-28 (0:39:09) Cp: 2003-01-28 (0:39:09) - 2003-02-09 (7:07:46) Sg: 2003-02-09 (7:07:46) - 2003-02-26 (10:31:08) Le: 2003-02-26 (10:31:08) - 2003-03-19 (15:29:36) Ar: 2003-03-19 (15:29:36) - 2003-04-20 (14:17:59) Pi: 2003-04-20 (14:17:59) - 2003-04-29 (16:22:56) Sc: 2003-04-29 (16:22:56) - 2003-05-17 (8:20:13) Cn: 2003-05-17 (8:20:13) - 2003-06-10 (11:46:42) Can you guess what happened in Cp dasa (Aug 10-Sept 3, 2002)? Since dasas started from 7th, take the 7th from dasa sign. So get the results from Cn. Taking Cn as lagna, lagna lord is in 9th (Pisces!) with 2nd lord Sun. Shows being with a saattwik guru and learning astrology. I spent most of that time with Sanjay ji, at Edison, NJ, Boston, MA and Ukiah, CA. But, the 10th lord Mars is in badhaka sthana with 8th lords Saturn and Rahu. Doesn't it show problem in career? Yes, indeed I lost my job on Aug 12. Not only Narayana dasa, but you can use other rasi dasas. For example, compress Drigdasa and uyou'll see that Scorpio dasa containing Ketu runs during Aug 18-Sept 5. Exactly during that time, I was with Pt. Sanjay Rath. Under his influence, I became more spiritual. * * * I'll give another example. I went for a job interview in the 3rd week of June 2003. At that time, I was working from home for a company in Atlanta and travelling a lot. I was looking for a good opportunity in Boston. They told me they would get back in a couple of weeks as they were interviewing others too. I made my daily TP charts for the next 2 weeks and narrowed down on July 1st chart. The data is 30th June 2003, 5:57:34 pm (EDT), co-ordinates of birth-place (time was converted to EDT). In this chart, hora lord (ruler of the day) is Saturn. He is yogakaraka - 9th and 10th lord. He has a close raja yoga with 5th lord Mercury and lagna lord Venus too joins them. Saturn is at 9 deg 35 min in Ge and Mercury is at 9 deg 24 min in Ge. Invariably, days with such raja yogas involving the ruler of the day end up giving important events related to the houses involved. So I was quite confident that an offer would come on that day. I further wanted to narrow down and looked at Padanaathaamsa dasa. The calculations are given below (times are displayed in EDT). Padanaathaamsa Dasa of D-9 chart (a versatile phalita rasi dasa): Maha Dasas: Sg: 2003-06-30 (17:57:34) - 2003-06-30 (18:22:06) Cp: 2003-06-30 (18:22:06) - 2003-06-30 (18:34:22) Aq: 2003-06-30 (18:34:22) - 2003-06-30 (18:58:54) Pi: 2003-06-30 (18:58:54) - 2003-06-30 (19:11:10) Ar: 2003-06-30 (19:11:10) - 2003-06-30 (21:13:40) Ta: 2003-06-30 (21:13:40) - 2003-06-30 (22:14:51) Ge: 2003-06-30 (22:14:51) - 2003-06-30 (23:28:12) Cn: 2003-06-30 (23:28:12) - 2003-06-30 (23:40:25) Le: 2003-06-30 (23:40:25) - 2003-07-01 (0:53:41) Vi: 2003-07-01 (0:53:41) - 2003-07-01 (2:43:27) Li: 2003-07-01 (2:43:27) - 2003-07-01 (5:09:33) Sc: 2003-07-01 (5:09:33) - 2003-07-01 (5:46:01) Sg: 2003-07-01 (5:46:01) - 2003-07-01 (7:47:30) Cp: 2003-07-01 (7:47:30) - 2003-07-01 (10:00:54) Aq: 2003-07-01 (10:00:54) - 2003-07-01 (12:01:58) Pi: 2003-07-01 (12:01:58) - 2003-07-01 (14:14:54) Ar: 2003-07-01 (14:14:54) - 2003-07-01 (14:39:03) Ta: 2003-07-01 (14:39:03) - 2003-07-01 (16:03:31) Ge: 2003-07-01 (16:03:31) - 2003-07-01 (17:15:50) Cn: 2003-07-01 (17:15:50) - 2003-07-01 (19:28:14) Le: 2003-07-01 (19:28:14) - 2003-07-01 (20:40:21) Vi: 2003-07-01 (20:40:21) - 2003-07-01 (21:16:23) Li: 2003-07-01 (21:16:23) - 2003-07-01 (21:16:23) Sc: 2003-07-01 (21:16:23) - 2003-07-01 (23:04:23) Out of the dasas that come during the working hours, Pisces was the best. It contains GL; it is the 9th from AL and its lord is exalted in AL. Moreover, it is aspected by all the planets in Ge. So I was expecting an offer between 12:02 pm and 2:15 pm on July 1. It came at 2:10 pm! * * * Narayana dasa and its variants always apply, whether in natal chart or in annual charts or in monthly charts or in daily charts. Let me give one final example. At the time of typing this mail and another mail, let us see the Narayana dasa as per the daily chart. The daily chart data is: 15th December 2003, 4:31 am (EDT). Narayana dasa with dates & times converted to EDT is given below: Narayana Dasa of D-1 chart (a versatile phalita rasi dasa): Maha Dasas: Ar: 2003-12-15 (4:31:00) - 2003-12-15 (6:43:23) Ta: 2003-12-15 (6:43:23) - 2003-12-15 (8:07:28) Ge: 2003-12-15 (8:07:28) - 2003-12-15 (9:19:26) Cn: 2003-12-15 (9:19:26) - 2003-12-15 (11:31:09) Le: 2003-12-15 (11:31:09) - 2003-12-15 (13:18:41) Vi: 2003-12-15 (13:18:41) - 2003-12-15 (15:06:00) Li: 2003-12-15 (15:06:00) - 2003-12-15 (15:29:49) Sc: 2003-12-15 (15:29:49) - 2003-12-15 (16:17:26) Sg: 2003-12-15 (16:17:26) - 2003-12-15 (17:52:32) Cp: 2003-12-15 (17:52:32) - 2003-12-15 (19:15:36) Aq: 2003-12-15 (19:15:36) - 2003-12-15 (20:50:24) Pi: 2003-12-15 (20:50:24) - 2003-12-15 (22:13:12) Ar: 2003-12-15 (22:13:12) - 2003-12-15 (22:25:01) Ta: 2003-12-15 (22:25:01) - 2003-12-15 (23:24:04) Ge: 2003-12-15 (23:24:04) - 2003-12-16 (0:34:50) Cn: 2003-12-16 (0:34:50) - 2003-12-16 (0:46:38) Le: 2003-12-16 (0:46:38) - 2003-12-16 (1:21:58) Vi: 2003-12-16 (1:21:58) - 2003-12-16 (1:57:17) Li: 2003-12-16 (1:57:17) - 2003-12-16 (3:54:51) Sc: 2003-12-16 (3:54:51) - 2003-12-16 (5:28:43) Sg: 2003-12-16 (5:28:43) - 2003-12-16 (6:15:35) Cp: 2003-12-16 (6:15:35) - 2003-12-16 (7:14:06) Aq: 2003-12-16 (7:14:06) - 2003-12-16 (8:00:52) Pi: 2003-12-16 (8:00:52) - 2003-12-16 (8:59:17) >From 12:46 am to 1:22 am, I ran Leo dasa. It was during this time that I typed a couple of astrological mails. Cast the chart for the given data and check Leo in the chart. Leo is the 5th house and it contains Moon and Jupiter. So Narayana is with scholarship (5th) right now. Bhoga, however, is in Scorpio, in the 10th from AL. So the actual activity that takes place in a tangible way is some karma (10th from AL) relating to occult knowledge (Scoprio). Taking Leo as lagna, the 3rd lord Venus joins Mercury (karaka for writing and 3rd lord from real lagna) in the 5th house. Thus, 1st, 3rd and 5th houses are standing out. No wonder I wrote something. Of course, like I said, you can use Vimsottari dasa too. I am running Mercury's compressed daily Vimsottari dasa right now (based on the above data). Mercury is the karaka for writing, owns the 3rd house in this daily chart and aspects the 3rd. No wonder his dasa made me write. Good night now! Guest guest
Dera Narashima, I am sure I speak for most of the List members when I say that your book on TP next spring is one to really look forward to. We simply cant ignore that 80% of your correct predictions over the past 4 years where based on TP. I do have one calculation question: >From my knowledge: 1) Anual TP is cast each year when the moon and sun are exactly the same distance apart as they were in the original birth chart as well as the sun being placed in the original birth sign. 2) Monthly TP is cast each month when the moon and sun are exactly the same distance apart as they were in the original birth chart. 3) daily TP - I dont have a clue how to calculate this one??
