Guest guest
Yes, I've seen Ketu as Yogi giving favourable results, as well. My ex. is Ketu in second as Yogi, brings material gain- however, Ketu MD was difficult for health and family- would you please explain that. Little do I know about this Y-AY effects. What happens when Rahu is strong /own s./ in bad house, 8th- will 2 negatives cause positive? What would manifestation be? How would that affect 'Yogi' issues / being oposite from Ke-in this particular example. MD as per my understanding can bring death in this case, other things being equal, what kind of death would it be? I would appreciate your sheding some light on this, Anna Ashwin Sun <ashwinjlsun > wrote: Rahu and Ketu are always considered as malefics, being as they dont own Rashis per se. They also, when being the Yogi or Duplicate Yogi, can yield material prosperity. See H.S.Iyer's book "New Techniques of Prediction" for further details. Guest guest
Dear Anna, Yes the Yogi KE in the 2nd house could bring material/financial prosperity, but at the same time difficulties to family, etc. When dealing with Yogis/Avayogis/Duplicate Yogis, we are dealing ONLY with PROSPERITY! EXample: a combust Mercury as Yogi will still give difficulties as per the Bhavas owned by Mercury, but the Prosperity power of Mercury as Yogi still exists, even thoughout the D.charts. This is a very specific topic and use of Jyotish. As far as how KE in the 2nd affects RA in the 8th depends on the whole of the chart. But we consider RA/KE as an axis, that is they DON'T aspect each other, for they are metaphorically the same being... Thus Rahu or Ketu as Yogi or Duplicate Yogi can yield prosperity while at the same time doing their "malefic-thing'. And yes RA in the eigth as a neg in a neg should have 'some' positive OR 'protective' outcomes within relation to 8th Bhava themes. Thanks, Peace- Ashwin AR <bona_mente > wrote: Dear Ashwin, Yes, I've seen Ketu as Yogi giving favourable results, as well. Guest guest
Dear Ashwin, Thanks for the good explanation on Yogis, Avayogis, Duplicate( Wonder what is equivalent Sanskrit word for duplicate)Yogis. I remember, some time ago, one of my Jyotish friends wrote to me about this, but I have misplaced the notes. Now my question is, can you please provide me some references in our Classics, so that I can read a little bit more detail on this area. Thanks for your help in advance.
