Ayanamsa: Lahiri Vs. Raman--feedback--to Jayashree

I had a question regarding mantra recitation. Is it ok to listen to a mantra and

concentrate on listening as opposed to reciting. i have seen that if I listen it

gives me more peace and shanti than reciting as I am always concerned about

uccharan and other details.

Also I read Manas pooja is best form of pooja as it is dhyan and solitude by

which one can attain God.
