The native has AL and A7 in samasaptaka and in mutually badhak places, with UL in a dusthana from AL. UL itself is in a dusthana in the eighth house but in conjunction with AK jupiter and UL lord venus and 7th lord mars and aspected by a whole host of five planets. Can anyone give comments on this placement? I am confused with the array of aspects and conjunctions on the UL. Please help me on this. It also happens to be the 8th house of mysticism in this chart. generally for material purposes Ul in 8th is not so good, as 8th is a dusthana. So it could show problems with spouse, or rather relations with spouse. The fact that there are two great benefics in UL offsets this negativity, as people consider the native a "giver". The position of 2nd lord from UL must be considered for longevity of the first marriage or marriage like relationship. (AL) , Material manifestation of Lagna - It thus represents the demonstration or exhibition of the self. 12th house represents the 'end' of Lagna,or in other words liberation of the self. (UL) , Material manifestation of liberation - Thus it demonstrates to the outside world the striving for liberation (give up all material possessions). Yoga is Union. Thus union of (AL,UL) manifests that - the self is striving for liberation or is ready to give up all possessions. Thus i understand the 'giver' perception is not w.r to spouse alone but in general.Pls confirm. UL lord eventhough in a dusthana is in his own house that too with the atmakaraka. Doesn't that mean that the spouse will be a spiritual one and also goodlooking. Also, second house from the UL is gemini..does this mean that the native goes for a second marriage?(the native is getting married in feb next year). Note the number of planets aspecting the UL. The spouse must have numerous raja yogas in her chart. How do I interpret all these? What do I make of the spouse and the native's relation to her in general. I also didn't understand what you meant by saying that the native is a 'giver'. Please clarify. P.S: thanks to all those who replied. Since, I use the JHORA software, it gives all the arudha padas and I do not calculate seperately as I take the software for granted. I am not very clear on the badhakesh concept. But I can clearly see that the UL, AL and A7 are in dusthanas from each other with the AL and A7 in mutually badhak places. UL in a dusthana from AL does not speak well of the relationship between the native and the spouse. But, since there are two first rate benefics in the UL, this might be alleviated.Also, the UL is being aspected by a strong moon and other planets. This is another good sign. As there are too many influences on the UL I was confused to find the strongest influence on it. Since, I am a novice in astrology, I did not know how to interpret this and seeked help on this.
