Since Sanjay ji's lagna is Meena, I thought the person whose phone(mercury) rang should have it in Virgo the badhakasthana to Meena. This has some background. Once when Narayan visited my home, the phone rang and interrupted our conversation three times. Narayan explained the nimittha saying that my mercury should be in his badhaka sthana and that is true. Likewise when someone visited my house and interrupted my prayers I found that his lagna is my badhakesh in D-20.So the badahkesh principle works well in nimittha and I thought this would be the case here. Maybe the lady who called would have Mercury in Virgo as it stopped Sanjay ji's speech. I also would like to share an interesting episode that happened when Sanjay was at Singapore for two days. At the host's apartment, Gurudeva Sanjay was speaking extempore on naisargika dasas and their use in timing events by simply a glance at the natal chart. Now the host has Su/Me/Ve in the 10th house of Aq (Ta lagna) with Ra in Vi. Now Su is 4th lord posited in enemy house and Sanjay immediately said that there is some problem with the house (he calls Aq as the most evil house) and asked us, the students to find out what and where is the problem. Some thought came to me and I said that it is a problem with neighbours but Sanjay asked me as to how I had reasoned it out. Since the thought came on the spur of the moment, Sanjay discouraged this kind of opinion and told we must always stick to principles & logic. Then the host told what the problem was: it seems sometimes there is a noise from above, as if someone is pounding on the floor. Hearing this noise, the resident in the flat below came to complain about the noise but the host said that he is not creating the noise. On further examination, the host and the resident found that it was coming from the flat above. So they went up and knocked on the door. No response. Then they called the owner of the flat and told him about the noise. The owner said that the flat is vacant and then the host advised that there may be illegal occupants inside the flat. So the owner and the host opened the flat above and checked. As expected there was no one inside the flat and the host found to his surprise that the floor of the flat was fully carpeted (imagine the force required to create the pounding noise then!)! Then Sanjay asked when did the noise last manifest. It turns out that it was on a Tuesday with amavasya. Now to find the root cause of the problem: Me (signifies direction of upwards or North) was involved in parivartana with Ra in Vi. Therefore the problem will manifest on Buddha vara with amavasya tithi. When did the problem manifest: started about a year and half when the last occupants left the flat. Sanjay opined that some atman, who is strongly connected with the family that had stayed there, is in the flat and advised the host to recite a specific mantra so that the atman gets peace. Also the host's family has been worshipping Durga Mata for generations and due to the vibrations of Durga Mata, the host was protected from the problem. I got really freaked out by this brilliant exposition and definitely had goosebumps for quite sometime!
