Dear Jagannathan ji,

My answers and thoughts below:

Kapisthalam ji, my contention was that the transits do need to be

favorable, especially that of Saturn for profession, but aside from

being capable of causing tensions, they may not cause total denial if

bhukti/dasas seem better, given the indications of a chart?

For example, when Saturn transited in Aries wayback in 1999, I had a

really fabulous time of employment and good amount of recognition...

Besides at that time, Saturn was additionally also aspecting Sun in

Libra. I think this whole issue with employment was kicked-off by

Ketu in Jan 2001, when I entered Ketu/Ketu. But during Ketu/Venus I

could not land employment, I don't know why since Venus should have

done me good? But I can understand the same situation continuing

through Ketu/Sun and Ketu/Moon... by virtue of being Ketu's enemies

and also Moon being 6th lord... And Mars now is 6/8 to Ketu... But

Rahu who again acts opposite to that of Ketu - I wonder how that

bhukti will be? I noticed I'm way too lethargic mentally during this

Ketu period, shouldn't Rahu then make me more energetic and spirited?

And Saturn transit over natal 6th house, though over Ketu, should

benefit employment by late 2004? Additionally Jupiter will be in

Virgo, aspecting Moon 6th lord in 2?

This is quite correct. My first job was during Mercury/Jupiter/Venus

period, second job Mercury/Saturn/Jupiter period. I wonder again why

all my efforts for employment failed during Ketu/Venus?

Also, I noticed that my annual tajaka Munda is over Libra (Sun) this

year, but next year (late 2004) I noticed Munda to fall atop natal

10th house and Jupiter/Venus in Scorpio, shouldn't this be more

favorable?

Also, Jupiter has been a job giver, noticing both the employment

periods above.. Also, isn't he the natural karaka for the 5th house,

and in my case, the 5th lord from Lagna Mercury is favorably posited

from AL, in which case Jupiter or Mercury are favoring employment? Is

this correct? Since Jupiter bhukti with transit Saturn over natal 6th

house (5th from Moon), transit Jupiter in 7th from Moon, munda over

natal 10th house, 6th house of service also good at SAV (31 bindus),

narayana dasa of Leo/Taurus (rashi) where Taurus lord Venus again

occupies natal 10 aspected by Saturn all seem to favor period

starting from late 2004 really favorable for employment, though

transit Saturn's position over natal Ketu might bring tensions?

Regarding tensions, somehow I get a strange feeling this whole Ketu

period until atleast mid/late 2005 will be somewhat full of

tensions.. Is this correct?

Also, Saturn ® is debilitated in Navamsa, since u had stated no

planet is debilitated in Navamsa. Just a correction.

Dear Jayashree Garu,

I believe that it is not enough if I alone pray and on

the other hand if both of us join then the prayer

will become meaningful.That does not mean that I fore

see some thing bad which may be in store for you.In my

humble opinion Astrology is a science of statistical

averages.We look for evidences from several quartes

for our assesments.I feel that most of our

apprehensions are not true.

Dear Kapisthalam Jagannathan ji,

My dob is: Oct 31st 1971, 2:26:55 PM, Chennai.

I think it is inappropriate to mention names here - but I would like

to say another valuable member of this forum thinks that I may likely

have a vargottam lagna, in which case the time is close to 2:26:43

PM, Chennai, 31st October, 1971. But he said he would affirm it for

me, which I await.

Somehow I've started feeling more optimistic towards this late 2004

timespan (1 yr from now), and having a reassurance, even the most

simplistic, I believe, would boost my optimism further, which is

really what I'm looking for, given a VERY LONG period of anxiety and

apprehension that I've been going through.

I am running Jup-Mer

and specially since Jup -Mer started I have no job. I left job when -

Jup Mer started. I will be having Jup-Ketu from Nov and Ketu is in

nakshta of Jup. Ketu is in 10th house. Will Jup-ketu is likely to

get me a job or I have to wait till Jup-Venus. I had good

professional carrer in Software field before leaving Job in 2001

April.

Dear KPK,

If you lost your job between Nov 2002 and March 2003, your D-10 chart is right

and the following will apply. In your D-10, Ketu is in the 10th from AL and the

Moon. The Moon is placed in the AL and exalted. You will be starting Jup/Ketu in

Nov. 2003 and the Pratyantaradasa of Moon between February and March 2004 will

put you back in the payroll. Ketu is the 7th Lord from Moon and placed in the

10th and he is well situated from Moon(Antardasas to bejudged from Moon). Now

Hello Sudarshan Ji and All

I lost my job since 15 april 2001. If you look at my chart almost my

whole Jup-Mer dasha (2 months here and there as each s/w give some

time difference in dasha)is without job. Since natal Mer my lagna

and 10th lord is 12 to my natal Jupiter. I got the Job in Rahu-Mars

dasha and Till Jup -Sat I was earning well and had good career. This

Jup-Mer Dasha only I am job less but I had baby during that period

in Nov 2001. Though on Professional front Jup-Mer period was totally

dull. I would like to know How Jup-Ketu will be for me...

As per my analysis I feel

either

1. I might get a job but since Ketu is in 10th and Ketu is in

nakshtra of Jup whose mahadasha I am running also Jup aspects 10th

house and Ketu is 7th to Jup. But Pay wise it will not be good. also

Since Sat is in 10th I might have to work very hard with less pay

till Sat moves to Cancer.

or

2. I will not get Job Till Jup Ketu get over as Ketu in 10th Shows

Deficiency in Getting Job. Only In Jup-Venus I can Get Job.

But not sure when? I am not able to do timing when will I get Job?

Now I will be having Jup-Keu from Nov 2003 and I am trying very hard

for job. I am in US right now with my Husband and If required we are

willing to relocate back to india if we both get good career there.

I worship lord ganesha regularly. I fast on Sankashti Chaturthi

(Chaturthi after Poornima each month for Ganesha). I am regular in

my prayers to ganesha. Since Last month when I read post on

Jyotirlinga I am reciting Jyotirlinga mantra 108 Times Daily. For

Taurus , Its Tryimbakeshwra mantra I recite. Also I am technically

upgrading myself by learning new technology since last 6 months so

as I should be ready for my new Job So I am also putting efforts. I

read Bhagwad Gita Regularly. I have strong faith in Bhagwadgita.

With the period I am out of job since 15 april 2001 till today,

Do you still feel I am likely to get job From Feb Or March 2004 or

then timing gets changed? I got 2 calls from Job agencies since last

2 weeks asking for resume. even after sending resume thinga are not

moving. Is this slowness is because of sat in 10th by transit. Also

sat will be Retro from OCt 28 2003 till Mar 2004 also Jup will be

retro from Dec 2003 till Apr/May 2004. will they affect?

Sorry for so many questions but really things are not at all moving

even after extra efforts. So if possible please Guide me..

I just realised now, The period you said Nov 2002 till Mar 2003 . I

am strongly thinking about job since Nov 2002 when My baby became 1

year old and and preparing myself technically compitent and ready

till Nov 2002 I was mentally prepared to be Job less and was quite

content as I was busy most of the time with newly born baby. Since

Baby is 1 year in Nov 2002 , I started thinking strongly about job.

And started preparing myself since Mar 2003. So You are correct in a

Way.

Dear KpK,

The analysis for getting a new opportunity is right.You should be blessed by

March 2004. I knew that Rahu(Pratyantaradasa) was the culprit in D-10 that cost

you your job but, took the wrong antaradasa.In fact if you had somehow continued

the job, you would have lost it in Nov 2002.Saturn and Mercury have exchaged

roles .Even the current period until Nov 2003 is favorable but the most

probable is the Ketu/Moon period in Feb/March 2004.

Taurus , Its Tryimbakeshwra mantra I recite. Also I am technically upgrading

myself by learning new technology since last 6 months so as I should be ready

for my new Job So I am also putting efforts. I

read Bhagwad Gita Regularly. I have strong faith in Bhagwadgita.With the period

I am out of job since 15 april 2001 till today, Do you still feel I am likely

to get job From Feb Or March 2004 or then timing gets changed? I got 2 calls

from Job agencies since last 2 weeks asking for resume. even after sending

resume thinga are not moving. Is this slowness is because of sat in 10th by

transit. Also sat will be Retro from OCt 28 2003 till Mar 2004 also Jup will be
