The recent Sat/Me was especially bad for me (marriage-divorce/son/career). Sometime in April 2002 on the advise of an astrologer I started wearing a yellow sapphire of more than 3 carats set in Gold. According to him Guru (Jupiter) had to be strengthened over Saturn, as it was the cause of the problems during the Saturn Dasa. The required mantras were recited and I wore the ring for the first time on a Thursday. On the advise of the same person I do not shave, nor apply oil to my hair, nor cut my hair or nails and am a vegetarian on Saturday, Tuesday and Thursday since I started wearing the ring (by religion I am not a Hindu but believe in the Hindu religion and it's philosophy). Things considerable improved in Oct 2002, though the period of Sat/Me period got over in Feb 2003. Was the improvement because of the yello sapphire?Recently I asked an astrologer from Madras, India to do a detail analysis based on Maharishi Parashar´s Brhatparasarahorasastra. According to him I have to strengthen Venus who is my weakest friend followed by Saturn who is my second weakest friend. And I should not wear the yellow sapphire stone, as it is an enemy of Saturn my friend.This sounds very conflicting.What is the correct thing to do? Should I continue wearing the yellow sapphire?
