Guest guest
Namaste Amit Roy and others, > THE BEST BOOK ON JYOTISH I HAVE READ IS > JYOTISH JANANA by Swami Sarpswaroopanandji Maharaj. > The book written by Narsimha Rao is pretty mediocre too > much unnecessary theory. > One does not need Arudha Lagna or Upapada to predict marriage > or Career.A good understanding of Vimshottari dasa is adequate. If learned scholars consider my first effort ("Vedic Astrology: An Integrated Approach") to be mediocre, I can try to improve in my future efforts. Please send a private mail to pvr (AT) charter (DOT) net and give feedback on why exactly it is "pretty mediocre". That can help me improve in my future books. If your objection is that I covered "too much theory", my book has a lot of practical examples and exercises too, to go along with the theory. I did not give any single piece of theory without illustrating it practically. If your objection is that arudha lagna, upapada etc are not "needed" and I covered useless concepts, you are then off the ground. After all, I simply followed Parasara. Parasara's timeless classic "Brihat Paaraasara Horaa Saastram" also covers all those concepts I covered. I only tried to throw light on Parasara's key teachings and give examples, so that laymen can understand them. > One needs good understanding of Yogas + good intuition + gods > grace. What God does not want to reveal no astrologer can predict. > Too much theory and mathematical knowledge in Jyotish brings > no result.Astrologers try to sell themselves to their Customers by > putting in some unique approach. Those who know me know that I am not trying to sell myself. Money generated by the royalties of my book, Achyuta Jyotish workshop CD sales, and JHora software sales will go to SJC. Even for private consultations, I take only voluntary donations and do not charge any fixed amounts. I do not and will not make a single cent for myself out of astrology. (Even if I do, it is not anybody's business though.) > S Raths in COVA has tried to > make himself unique by intergrating Jaimani concepts but the > feedback I get from clients who have consulted Rath is that he > is 50% accurate in predictions a very poor rate considering he > charges so much and writes such big books with so much > theorey. No insult or offense ment. > OM AMIT ROY Now you cross the limits. I have clearly said in the past that comments on the success rate of other astrologers are unacceptable here. Nobody is in a good position to accurately measure somebody else's success rate. It is unfair to bias people. Commenting on the success rate of other astrologers is strictly prohibited here. If you make another such statement, you will be expelled from the list.
