Astrology, purpose and meaning??????????

Hello Everyone:

 

Let me introduce myself. I visited quite a few temples and did listen

to few learned experts on Sanatana Dharma/Ramayana/Gita. I started

developing an interest in Hindu Mythology and interest in Vedas etc

was a natural outcome of it. My thought on Astrology is that experts

(I guess, very few.. at least I know none)can guide you based on

certain trends but can not predict or help anyone with day to day

life events. That is OK if that is the purpose of Astrology.

 

I was curious to join this group for few days and see the

beliefs/trends/discussion of members. Fortunately (or Unforuntaely)

one of my friends Vicki (VCA_SAP, who joined this group few days back

anticipating some learning and help) is one of the staunch believers

in Astrology without any solid basis though. Vicki, I do apologize as

I jumped in here and mentioned your name without your permission. I

want to see if some of your questions can be really answered or you

get some help here as I have known you well for last so many years.

 

No offence to anyone as I respect all human beings and I am in the

process of searching true objectives of my life.

nice to know abt u ! if u already have some knowledge , it will b easier for u

to understand the connecton of astrology, spirituality & mythology. do read

first two chapters of brihat parasara hora sastra.
