Guest guest Posted October 19, 2003 Report Share Posted October 19, 2003 Dear and respected Learned members I have read that 12th from karakamsha(where atma karaka is placed in navamsha)should be analysed for finding the Ishta Devta. But if a person is having more likeness towards another Devta than what is indicated by 12th from karakamsha,what could be the reasons? For example if we find that mercury is situated there,then based on the degrees Rama or Vishnu becomes Ishta Devta. But if the individual has been worshipping Shiva and has been having more likeness towards Shiva,can we find the resons for this from the chart?I am making a wild guess - If sun is dominating the planet related to Ishta Devta,then the devta related to Sun might be worshipped more? I am trying to understand your statement ''Now as AK Surya himself has gone to Simha Rasi'' So in cases of parivartana as the one mentioned here,should one infer that the planets go to their respective houses (though the placements are diffrent)?
