Guest guest
Hari Bol Sudharshan I have been following this thread and cant help but asking you to shed some light on what indicators in my chart is drawing me to the magic of Jyotish I have been interested since the beginning of last year, but only recently decided to buy books, software etc. About 15 years ago a Jyotish looked at my chart and said that I would have 2 boys, and some other things that came true - hence my conviction of the science. My birth Details are: Birth 24 April 1966 Birth Time: 01:25am, EET (GMT +2hrs) Birth Place: Pretoria, South Africa, 18E10, 25S45, (currently residing in Cape Town, South Africa) All the Best and look forward to hearing from you all Hare Krishna Bipin --- Message: 20 Sat, 15 Nov 2003 08:59:28 -0800 (PST) Sudharsan Srinivasan <sudhar108 Re: Study or belief in Jyotish Hare Rama Krishna Dear Jagmeet ji, As Hari said, we can agree to disagree . I was drawn to Jyotish from a very young age but there was no adverse reason. Similarly, I took it up seriously only after contacting SJC, again no adversity.I have my Ak conjunct the 11th lord in Rasi and in D-24 my Ak is in the 11th house. And the 5th, 8th and 11th houses in D-24 have the highest Ashtakavarga points with Jupiter having 8 bindus, indicating that I will be able to absorb Jupitarean subjects. The point which I sought to make is that even the fact of someone taking to jyotish is reflected in the chart as even you pointed out. Consequently, having good yogas (Sanjay ji also has some great yogas) and Jyotish are independent events and not mutually exclusive. Guest guest
Dear Bipin, Hare Krishna! A rule that our Guru ji taught us was that the 11th lord and the Atma Karaka have to be connected for someone to take up Jyotisha seriously. In your case the Atmakaraka Rahu aspects the 11th Lord Jupiter.Jupiter the 11th and 2nd Lord is placed in the 5th and the 8th lord is placed in the 2nd.Thus the most important houses 2,5,8,11 are connected. By the way, you have a curse afflicting the Moon and it occurs in your fourth house. Rahu and Saturn aspect the Moon causing a Matru Shaapa,or curse of mother from the last birth. This could have affected matru sukha i.e happiness from mother. Your Ishta Devatha is indicated by Jupiter. You should pray to Shri Jagannatha or Shri Vamanadeva. You may chant the mahamanthra or OM NAMO BAGAWATHE TRIVIKRIMAYA ( 4 Malas of 108 beads daily). If you are already chanting the MahaManthra please continu to do so.
