Guest guest Posted November 4, 2003 Report Share Posted November 4, 2003 Dear RamadasJi, Sudarshan & others, Thanks for your comments, as ever backed by real life experiences. >From the West Coast conference- 2002 CD it is clear that Rasi Sandhi is the one Navamsa on either side of Rasi cusp. Is your understanding also the same or you prefer to define it differently. If it is 'Navamsa', then a vargottama Jupiter in both its signs is bad for those two Houses. In my own experience,.... i hesitate to say this because last time i wrote on the list that my Father is happily married for over 50 years, within a fortnight my Mother expired. I have Jupiter, Saturn,(In Sagittarius), Mercury in Aq & Ven in Pis are all in Rasi Sandhi (Scorpio- Lagna) if we consider 3.2'. If we take last 1 degree, as some advocate, then Saturn & Mercury are in Gandanta. In any case, i have not experienced any premature deaths in my family. My Mother died at the age of 62 (though we would love to have her for some more time). Now i write this with a prayer to God to give them all a very long life. In case of Curses, i understand that Vargottama is not good, in the sense that the curse is backed by the force of Dharma and therefore is infallible - one has to experince it. Is it not that generally Vargottama indicates a dharmic connection from past life. How to understand Vargottama, if it has to be always negative. One should not have Vargottama planets if He\She had done something nice in the past life! I hope you understand my confusion, i am stuck here and love to be enlightened.
