Guest guest
THE BEST BOOK ON JYOTISH I HAVE READ IS JYOTISH JANANA by Swami Sarpswaroopanandji Maharaj. The book written by Narsimha Rao is pretty mediocre too much unnecessary theory. One does not need Arudha Lagna or Upapada to predict marriage or Career.A good understanding of Vimshottari dasa is adequate. One needs good understanding of Yogas + good intuition + gods grace. What God does not want to reveal no astrologer can predict.Too much theory and mathematical knowledge in Jyotish brings no result.Astrologers try to sell themselves to their Customers by putting in some unique approach. S Raths in COVA has tried to make himself unique by intergrating Jaimani concepts but the feedback I get from clients who have consulted Rath is that he is 50% accurate in predictions a very poor rate considering he charges so much and writes such big books with so much theorey. No insult or offense ment. Guest guest
25.9.2003 Dear Amit Roy, Rakesh Kapoor etc, What is your scale of judging any book as BEST, BETTER, MEDIOCORE etc. It is all indiviual perception and your level of knowledge to understand what is written by the author. I dont know how many books on astrology you have read till date but on my personal experience of last 16 years with many of the books on astrology I can say that the books written by Sanjay Rath and Narsimha Rao is EXCELLENT (reason given below) 1.Chart analysis and full of examples. Compare your self Jaimini Updesa Sutra of Sanjay Rathji and Jaimini Sutram of Prof. P.S.Sastri from explanation of sutras and examples point of view.I dont want to run down any specific authors capability. 2.Based on Classics Sutras ( No stories, or self developed theories) every thing written has some base or reference from classics like BPHS etc. 3.Revealed many methods of analysing charts which few astrologers may be using but they do not reavel the secrets. Is brining unrevealed astrological approaches in the form of book a wrong thing? Tell me any book revealing in DETAIL the Kal Amrita Yoga, Argala, Tithi Pravesh Charts, Sex determination, Narayan Dasa, Shool Dasa, Sudasha etc etc. As far as charges for consultation and success rate of Sanjay Rath ji How would you react when I say that I have seen his prediction coming true 100% for many people, people waiting for their turn, sometimes no charges at all. Dont rate any professional's capability in terms of %. The purpose of this group is to enhance the astro-knowledge by sharing differenent experiences. May be many of the list member knows or got some teaching from Mr.K.N.Rao or Pt.Sanjay Rath ji. So do not criticise any one because members on this list are matured enough and they will not buy the idea that Mr.K.N.Rao's book is BEST and others (Sanjay rath, PVR etc) are WORST or vice versa. This Story is self explanatory: A business man visited a monk and said " All the monks are fakes and the science of mantra has no truth".The monk gave him one PRECIOUS STONE (diamond) and asked him to try to sell to Copper Merchant and Silver Merchant. He came back and said that Copper merchant and silver merchant is willing to pay only ONE copper coin and Silver coin respectively. The monk then asked him to offer it for sale to a gold merchant. He offered ONE gold coin. Then monk asked to go to Diamond merchant but dont sell the stone. The diamond merchant started bid from 100 gold coins and ends for 1000 gold coin. Moral:You should be diamond merchant to see the value of diamond not a copper or silver or gold smith. EVERY BODY IS FREE TO ACCEPT ANY THEROY OR APPROACHES OF ANY WRITER IF HE FINDS RESULTS WITH THAT.
