Guest guest
Dear Sudharsan, Thank you for the reply and it was very intersting to know about the gems and AK. Now, I have a question for you: 1) What are the indications, if the AK Sun is with Moon in 12th house in Libra in D-9 for a native. 2) Also, please refer me, which text I should be studying to get more detailed study on the AK placements in Navamsa in general. Guest guest
If I understand this correctly the purpose of AK (saturn) dasa/antardasa is to make us increase our interest and awareness in spirituality. So if we are too much into material pursuits then it will teach us hard lessons and cause us to suffer. In that case should we not pursue material things in AK dasa or have balanced emphasis towards our devotion towards God and spirituality. I can personally speak for myself that in AK antardasa I ended up losing a lot of money in the stock market, however I was not alone as many others did too. It is interesting ro mention that my AK Saturn is debilitated in 10th house and I believe it has neechbhanga. So not sure what the manifestations of that are exactly. Although I was always been a religious person, but my faith in God got stronger in the period and I also started spending more time in prayers. Not a whole lot but significanly more and visit temple often. Regarding vedic day of birth is this the day on was born, like in my case Friday ir its something else. Guest guest
Dear Rajiv, You got it.The AK dasa is not a bed of thorns if we understand the *true* nature of the soul and help the same. Pray to Shri Lakshmi Narayana for health, as your Vara Lord is Venus(signifies Shri Lakshmi ji, but its auspicious to pray to the Divine Couple toghether). But if you chant the Maha Manthra, it has the word "Hare" which addresses the energy of the Lord i.e Lakshmi ji, and also has the Holy Names. That should be more than adequate. That is the true significator of health according to Sanjay ji.If I were to debilitate Saturn, wouldnt I be praying to Shri Narasimhadeva? Can you explain your logic? Thanks. But in many cases its just a period of pain. The above two manifestations of the AK depend on its placement in D-9 and relationship with D-9 Lagna. For a realized soul such as Srila Prabhupada, he achieved everything during the dasa of the AK but in the case of many others it just signifies a lot of problems.SO the summation is that if we are inclined toward spiritual life, the dasa of the AK will be a great boon in the spiritual direction. I have experienced that personally.Of course the spritual directon or Atma gati comes only after tribulations, so even my AK antaradasa was a peiod of tests which finally led me to my Ista and purpose of life. But in the case of many others, the AK tries but because the chart does not indicate an inclination toward spiritual life, the natives end up just suffering which results in purification. If you use the stone of the AK make sure he is also your Vara (Vedic weekday of birth) lord otherwise, it will adversely impact your health. In my case I wear the Gem for AK but he is my weekday lord and also a great yogakaraka, so there were no problems related to the stone, so there are exceptions. Regarding the placement of AK in different padas, we have to remember that the AK signifies the soul, so if its placed in the 2nd pada for instance, it indicates Artha or wealth that could be used to serve the Ishta. Different people have vairiegated plans in their mind based on their situation in life and propensities to serve the Supreme Lord.My understanding is that the different padas of the placement of AK indicates how a native could possibly be serving the Supreme. Afterall we all may not be able to play identical roles in our service. These are purely my thoughts and are subject to further research. Guest guest
Dear Swee, According to Srila Prabhupada, HAre is the vocative form for Hara the internal potency of the Lord.So I am not sure if it should be taken as Hari(as in Lion).I will get back to you on the shri Lakshmi Narayana Manthra.
