Guest guest
Dear Learned Members, This is a top level discussion going on and i know i must not budge in. Many have spoken on behalf of good intentioned Jay so i wont say anything on this . I agree with you Sundeepji, but if i am permitted to suggest, if the list is going to discuss BJPs 14 year rule, could the Gurus also discuss along with it India's chart for the next 14 years period - we could atleast know if our india would progress or move backwards in these 14 yrs to come. Surely India would become a superpower i feel but does it say astrologically and would poverty be eradicated ( sorry high hopes) or atleast reduced and literacy increased in these periods. i am quite sure many people would like to see this or compare charts of the ruling partys performance and the countries performance and see if both match astrologically best Joy Sunil John Mumbai ------- Original message ------- vedicastrostudent <vedicastrostudent Thu, 15 Jan 2004 19:24:42 -0000 Subject: [vedic astrology] Re: More links Sorry for the previous empty post. I have to chip in for Jay here even though I dont know him. His points are undoubtedly valid and well meaning and something I have wondered as well. If a strong public prediction such as this one is made, then the detailed justification for it must also be publicly made, however that justification would make no sense in the Times of India, since the audience is not astrology-savvy. But in a publicly maintained and archived list like this and others, it would make a lot of sense, exactly as Jay says. And it has to be done now, not after the fact. In case the prediction comes right, or even if it goes wrong, the techniques can be analyzed to the benefit of all students. I personally wouldnt even doubt Sanjay if it went wrong - as long as I can see the post mortem analysis of the previously posted detailed justification and learn from the mistakes if any. Guest guest
Dear Sunil, I am a lot less knowledgeable than you are so the "ji" title is really undeserved. However, my point is a bit different from yours - you want a lot of things discussed which is very good. I am only asking a bare minimum as a rigorous protocol to be followed for building a solid and invincible reputation. For e.g. when Einstein claimed e=mc**2, in the public newspapers you see only something like "Energy Mass Equivalence Discovered!!!". But in the public research journals of physics, you see the full detail. I am only suggesting a similar approach, and ONLY for public predictions. Times of India: "BJP will stay in power for 14 years says leading astrologer". SJC list or some public astrological forum: the details. This is what I believe Jay had in mind.
