Sonia Gandhi can never rule India, stars say so

Thursday January 15 2004 00:00 IST

IANS

BHUBANESHWAR: Fresh elections may still be some time away, but

astrologers gathered here have already given their verdict: Prime

Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee is bound to win a second five-year

term.

After studying the position of the numerous planets and stars, the

future gazers have also concluded: Congress president Sonia Gandhi

can never rule India.

Although he is not keeping perfect health, Vajpayee's horoscope

indicates he is in "a very strong and bright position", leading

astrologer Sajaya Rath said here.

The 42-year-old Rath, who lives in the temple town of Puri, had also

predicted that Vajpayee would lead the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)

to victory in the 1996 parliamentary polls.

It is another matter that Vajpayee could remain in power for only 13

days-before storming back to be the prime minister again two years

later.

Now, says Rath, the BJP will go on to rule the country for 14 long

years.

"I cannot say how many years he will continue as the prime minister

but we can say under his leadership the BJP has a good future."

Deputy Prime Minister L K Advani's horoscope is equally strong, the

astrologers say.

A favourable Jupiter is giving power and authority to Advani, and

this state of affairs will continue.
