Guest guest
Dear Aakansha, You asked a very easy question. Let me respond to it. There are only 8 charakarakas and Ketu is excluded from the scheme, as Ketu gives moksha (moksha karaka). You can read more about it in BPHS or more contemporary book like PVR Narasimha Rao's book called Vedic Astrology an Integrated approach. Atmakaraka is the planet of highest degree then next is Amatyakaraka.I am confused that while deciding the karakas only degree is considered or rasi is also taken in account. If only degree is considered in this case, suppose rahu and ketu are planets of highest degree then there will be two atmakaraka. Please clear my doubt, and also suggest some good books on jaimini astrology.RegardsAakanshaArchives: vedic astrologyGroup info: vedic astrology/info.htmlTo UNSUBSCRIBE: Blank mail to vedic astrology-.......
