Guest guest
'Bless your headacke, you asked very important questions /I mean I feel they are important. Chara D and Narayana D are not the same./When to use Chara? Instead N.? Don't know. I had the same Q on naming Narayana D- my guess is that it's bcs N.D is the king among dasas. Now I am sure Chara and Chara Paryaya D are different- what's behind the name I still don't know. Thanks for asking. Anna PS-I've just sent you privatelly Vargottama Lagna chartonlyhari <onlyhari > wrote: ||Om Brihaspataye Namah||Namaste all:> PS (to Anna): You asked about chara paryaya dasa. Yes, Anna, it is different from chara dasa and JHora commercial version computes it. That is what I used in that article.Yesterday night, in the midst of a severe headache, I was reading Sanjay's book on Narayana Dasha. While Sanjay explained beautifully about Narayana and the four-fold division, I felt that he did not explain why the rasi dasha explained in the book was named as Narayana Dasha. As I understand it, Jaimini Chara Dasha and Narayana Dasha are both one and the same. Am I correct in understanding thus? Chara dasha does not look right to me as we could be progressing from any of the three types of rashis, based on the strength of the 1st or 7th house. Why not call it a fixed or dual dasha...Could anyone help me to understand the logic behind naming of this dasha. In the same way, what does chara paryaya dasha mean?regardsHariArchives: vedic astrologyGroup info: vedic astrology/info.htmlTo UNSUBSCRIBE: Blank mail to vedic astrology-....... Guest guest
Dear Hari, Narayana Dasha is used for general result. Put the rashi as Lagna whose dasha is running and predict according to that chart. I have one software Digital Jyotish which calculate all Jamini dasha for birth chart and divisional charts and it also shows the chart according to current dasha. Feel free to ask any more query. Guest guest
|| Om Gurave Namah || Dear Hari, Let me try to give my thought on naming Narayana Dasa. Narayana is Brahma + Vishnu + Maheshwara all together. Chara Rashi is governed by Brahma. Sthira Rashi by Maheshwara. Dwiswa by Vishnu. The whole Narayana dasa computation depends on these three different mobility of rashi's. (some call them individually as Chara Dasa, sthira dasa etc). -Warm Regards S.
