Guest guest
Dear Sateesh The chara karakas show the "roles" that different "souls" play in our lives. For example a Saturn as Pik may show disciplinarian authorities (father, boss etc) who will try to teach the person the value of freedom. Discipline curtails the independence of soul, and sometimes it may prove to be hindrance for accomplishing goals. But whatever role the particular person may play, ultimately it turns out to be beneficial. UL , AL, A3, etc show the "material" or the "physical" manifestation of these people. The whole world is a mirror, objects are much closer to us than they appear in the mirror. Did you read this ever. You are here, there and everywhere. These material manifestations teach us not to percieve the world. Rise above the physical senses, and even above perceptions. Chara Karakas represent a whole range of people both visible and invisible. There might be "an invisible handhand of god" helping people out in their lives. This is soul power. regards partha ps:-please send me your chart, we will see what can be done. vedic astrology, "Sateesh Batas" <makara@n...> wrote: > Dear Narasimha, > > > As Sun is DaraKaraka, is that enough for its Antra to give marriage? > > I am a bit confused on the difference between Upapada and DK, as they seem to indicate same thing. > > Many thanks - Sateesh. > > ======== > > > - > Sanjay Rath > vedic astrology > Friday, May 30, 2003 12:42 PM > RE: [vedic astrology] Combust versus Combusting > > > Of course. This is going to be one great period as I mentioned it is the lord of the 12th and is exalted in the 8th house generating a yoga for Virgo lagna. Its trines to the 6th lord Rahu is good for personal life. If you notice, it is poised in trines to the Upapada..explosive and sudden marriage is indicated. Now we need the period to begin and transit Jup in Leo will help > > ======== > > > Sateesh Batas [makara@n...] > Friday, May 30, 2003 4:58 PM > vedic astrology > Re: [vedic astrology] Combust versus Combusting > > > > As Sun and Venus are both very close together in my chart, and I am currently in Rahu-Venus, my question was - will Rahu-Sun antra be any different to Rahu-Venus? Guest guest
Dear Partha, Thank you for taking this question up and answering it so nicely! What you said on chara karakas is simply marvellous. Let me nit pick on arudhas though and make an important point. > UL , AL, A3, etc show the "material" or the "physical" manifestation > of these people. We are taught that signs and houses show inanimate things (i.e. circumstances and situations), while planets show animate things (i.e. people, consciousness/intelligence applied to various matters). Arudha padas of houses, such as UL, AL and A3, are simply "tangible manifestations" of the corresponding house matters. Strictly speaking, they cannot show people. Bhava arudhas just show "tangible circumstances" relating to various matters. People and consciousnesses can only be shown by planets and planetary arudhas. Signs and houses only show situations and circumstances surrounding a matter. Take navamsa. The 7th is my interactions with wife (or with others in my dharmik life). It just shows the circumstances related to my interactions. Certain circumstances controlling the interactions are not tangible and they are hidden inside me. They are seen from the house. Certain circumstances are tangible and they are seen from arudha (risen one, i.e. tangible manifestation). The 7th lord shows the application of intelligence to interactions. It shows the consciousness related to interactions. Again, there are intangible (my own intelligence, as applied to the interaction) and tangible (my wife, a living person) aspects. More later... May Jupiter's light shine on us,Narasimha

Guest guest
Dear Hari Jupiter shows the light and Saturn shows us the bad karma that has been done. To appreicate the stars in the sky we do need the "mass of dark matter", saturn rules the mass. The Brahman, the soul is like the butter. WE cannot see butter in the milk, unless churning is done. WE cannot see the SUN (Naisargika Atmakaraka) unless the darkness of Saturn(shadow, sorrow), Rahu(tamas, jealousy), Mars(anger), Venus (Desires), Ketu(Moha) are lifted. The light of Third eye(moon) is not the finality. The light of moon is neither the truth nor the untruth. Moon reflects the light of SUn, that does not make Moon the Untruth. It is neither the truth, as it is not the "SOurce of light". I have sent another mail to Narasimha where i agreed with his observations on arudhas. But i also noted that Arudhas do show material manifestations, except for living people. A5 shows certificates, and a3 the books, but people are shown by graha and their arudhas. Beyond the karmyendriyas and the Gyanendriyas, lies the seat of perceptions, and beyond the perceptions lies the truth, Sat-cit- ananda. All the chara karakas are beneficial, all the sarpa yogas and kala sarpa yogas are beneficial, all the troubles, all the thoughts, every moment is beneficial. Every thought is the seed of liberation. Every mistake and every illusion makes us closer to the "VOID". Every accident, every birth, every person in this world is a teacher. There are no mistakes, there are only lessons. Repentence and regret are reasons for rebirth, the desire for moksha is also an attatchment. Your boss, your wife, your brother, your guru are only the external manifestations of what you are inside with respect to these energies. If you are negative towards authority, you will have domineering boss, if you are negative towards venus, wife would be troublesome. Everything has to be understood correctly and then only the viel of ignorance and tamas will go. The goal is infact to rise above all the modes, ignorance, passion and goodness. Till you attain liberation, these "tests" will continue. love partha vedic astrology, "onlyhari" <onlyhari> wrote: > ||Om Namah Shivaya|| > > ||Om Brihaspataye Namah|| > > Dear Partha, > > A few questions: > > > Discipline curtails the independence of soul, and sometimes > > it may prove to be hindrance for accomplishing goals.
