karaka for pineal and chakras

Dear Mr Rao,

I too have been doing a little research (albeit second hand), reading Bepin

Behari's references to the chakras.

Revelations of Zodiacal Signs and Lunar Mansions: -

"... The Ajna Chakra, connected with the Moon leads to the comprehension of

the Divine Plan for the universe and men, while Bramarandhra leads to

Supreme Consciousness and is related with the Crown Chakra". This makes

sense to me as the Ajna Chakra is physically closer to the cerebral frontal

lobe than to the pineal. Vishuddi (throat) with Mercury. Anaharta with

Venus.

New Dimensions in Vedic Occultism: -

"The objectivesof the physical form of the being comprising the physical

body, the vital airs which energise it and the blood which circulates life

essence in the form are regulated respectively by Saturn, Jupiter and Mars.

The three forces centres or chakras related to them are Muladhara,

Svadisthana and Manipura".

 

Behari doesn't mention it but it looks to me as if we have a familiar

pattern )

 

Sahasara Sun

Ajna Moon

Vishuda Mercury

Anahata Venus

Maripura Mars

Svadhisthana Jupiter

Muladhara Saturn.

Thanks for the input.My friend who is a Yoga Master here in Kuwait who teaches

Bhakti Yoga,Jnana Yoga ,Karma and Raja Yoga says Guru is the Karaka for Ajna

Chakra and Surya for Sahasrara.Anyhow this has to be studied further.
