Thanks and you are going in the correct route about Pineal Gland.

Now regarding this 3rd eye activation,I will give you a small real information

which came in recent TIMES OF INDIA News paper.One gentle man called Hira Ratan

Manek who is now about 65 years old told that only by gazing the Sun during Sun

Rise and Suns set for a period of about 9 months he got a special power which

he says his pineal gland got activitated and as a result he is not feeling

hungry or thursty.To get this power he took many years.NASA has taken him for

further experiments about his theory.He says by actvating the Pineal Gland,the

electro magnetic energy is stored in the brain and so he does not need any food

further because about 80 % of our food energy is taken by the brain to produce

electro magnetic energy.So he says he permamnently got this energy directly

from SUN and now he does not need any food.

Very amazing!Do you remember by any chance the approximate date of

the article.

May be this is how the sages were able to live just on water and

leaves.In fact i know some people who needs only 1/10th of food that

others take and be healthy.This is because of practise from young

age!

Dear Mr. Rao,

Thank you. Your mails are always wonderful and enlighteningl. I suspected

the sun as karaka ... I wanted to know what the experts thought. Descartes

believed that the pineal was the 'seat of the soul'. I had an experience of

'bliss' one grey morning in 1981 when my surrounding turned to gold and I

could see all the atoms and molecules right to the end of time. I KNEW then

that I was part of the universe and it was part of me. I was sure the

pineal was involved in this experience which for me was a glimse of God but

separate from any religious beliefs I held.

if science say it is possible otherwise i know sage

look for tez of light we only live for prakash of

light moment you realize tez inotherworld once you

yourself

see the source of life tez the new begining start and

physiacal world or body is not important as long we

hang on to bodies the food must be consumed.

I am still studying about the lordship over different Chakras.One of my friend

who is performing Yoga Classes here said me Guru is the Karaka for Ajna Chakra

and Surya for Sahasrara.He also told me that Shukra is karaka for Anahata

Chakra ie in Hridaya or heart.The reason was today I had a just talk over the

phone and told him that as his Guru and Rahu are in Vrishabha Rashi in 5th from

Lagna ( Makara ),he has a blockage in Heart Chakra or Anahata,he was surprised

that he asked me how you know this and told me also that while doing

Meditation he can see that his Anahata is blocking and it is not going above

than this Chakra and he said me that my interpretation is correct.
