Guest guest
Dear members, I would appreciate to get some explanations to the importance of bindu count, in vedic astrology and why one rarely sees it on vedic charts. Thank you
Guest guest
Hello, Looking at the individual Bindu counts of the planets gives us another way of assessing their strengths. Each chart has it's own rhythm as a result of the transit of planets through different houses based on the bindus present. The range of bindus falls between 0 and 8. Zero being the lowest and 8 the highest and four being the middle or average 'normal' range with 3 being the law average and 5 the high average. The most obvious place to see these bindus in operation is to look at the bindus attributed to the Moon. the pattern the 12 categories makes will be seen in an individuals monthly mood cycle. I call this the mood cycle not because I am suggesting the Moon represents our moods but rather because our moods are a product of how we see things. If the bindus are low during a specific period than the individual will see the world with a darker cast and as a result a darker mood can be expected. Conversely when the Moon's bindus are high there is naturally a higher or brighter mood. The catch here is that this information can not be taken simply as it is presented because each planet will be contributing somethig. Some of the planets will have a high representation while others will not. The trick now is to balance the impact. I hope this helps.............. Guest guest
Dear Phyllis, Thank you for the explanation, however I never found the term bindu count in a vedic chart. Is there a special vedic term for it? Thanks vedic astrology, "Phyllis Chubb" <aboutyou@t...> wrote: > Hello, > > Looking at the individual Bindu counts of the planets gives us another way > of assessing their strengths. Guest guest
Hello Again, The bindu count is what the ashtakavarga is made up of. You will see grand totals of each sign and also totals of each planet as it impacts each sign. There's more too but let's leave that for now.
